I LOVE this place. One year I decided to switch things up and dye my hair for the first time ever. I was so nervous but when I arrived to BB Studios, Kaylyn made me feel so comfortable, explained everything she was doing, listened to me, and took her time. Now, I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair! Every time I go, the service is outstanding. They always remember me by name and the quality of their work speaks volumes. I also get spray tans (BB Sprays) here. Sometimes with sprays when you workout it peels really bad and looks funky. But whatever solution they use doesn't do that to me and it evenly fades. I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this place. I repeatedly called for weeks trying to schedule a service, and even went in twice personally because of its convenient location near FSU where I study. Despite multiple requests and assurances from the women working there that they would call me back, no one ever contacted me. It went on like this for months before I decided to write this review. Their lack of professionalism and incompetence is evident, showing a complete disregard for customer service and quality. Do not go here for Eyelashes. The girl that did my eyelashes used clusters instead of individual ones!!! I am beyond upset about this!! This is not what you expect when you get your eyelashes done! The "volumizing eyelashes strips" or clusters is not what I wanted! I asked for the classic natural look and instead of just putting individual ones they added this clusters. When I moved to Tallahasse this past summer it felt like I would not be able to trust anyone with my lashes. Nevertheless I looked around and saw a lot of options with different prices and styles. Some places seemed too cheap to be safe and others had a style that was a little too dramatic for what I liked. After five months of looking around, I found a place that I went to and was disappointed with the work I got done. I waited a month for the lashes to fall and they wouldn't. I was beginning to think I would stop It wasn't until my hairdresser recommended Blink Beauty Studios that I decided to give lashes one last chance in hopes of finding my new go-to place. I called and made an appointment. It was easy and clear. I got a text confirming the time, date, service, and the name of the person who I was going to see. The first appointment I made was to get my uncomfortable lashes removed. I arrived early and was greeted, checked in and taken care of (I was asked if I wanted a drink). Aysia did my removal and to be honest, it felt like a consultation to get to know me and what my eyes do during and after lash placement. I was asked about my experience with my first lash artist and the second. The more questions I was asked, the more I knew I was working with serious professionals. It felt relaxing to just sit back and let the pros work. The next day, I went back to get my lashes done. I opted for a classic set with Tiffany. She was amazing to me. The lashes I had taken off had been poking my eye whenever I closed them and one of my concerns became Tiffany's. I talked to her about getting irritation under my eyes with the lashes I had them remove and she took the time to listen and was able to tell me the reason for the irritation. She proceeded confidently and I again relaxed knowing I was in great hands. At the end of my appointment, I felt fine, my left eye did water a bit but I had assured her that eye always did. I went home and had no redness whereas, in the previous place, I had redness for about a week and had eye drops in my eyes three times a day to help clear my eyes. I can safely say I have found my lash place and will look no where else. The pricing is great and the quality if OUTSTANDING. I truly recommend you go here if you want your natural lashes to stay healthy while you have beautiful extensions done by professionals. read more

When I get to the studio the door is locked and the person who was supposed to give me the facial was not there because some how they didn't have my reservation. I have been going to Marissa for my eyelash extensions and she is fantastic. The integrity of my natural lashes has not been compromised and I get compliments on them daily! I just had an incredible facial from Caroline. I am a natural redhead and my skin is very sensitive. I also use Retin-A. My skin was visibly clearer after just one session. Got a spray tan done here today and so far so good. The color seems to be coming in really nice and I hope to see it get darker the longer I keep it on. This place is so cute, and all of the employees were so helpful and nice! They even had refreshments in the mini fridge that they allowed us to help ourselves to. If you are looking for a spray tan that is not over priced and done well by a person instead of those sketchy machines that you never know if they will turn out then you should definitely check Blink Beauty out. read more

I just recently moved to Tallahassee and was looking for a good place for a sunless tan. I was suggested here by the girls in my sorority and since I have gone I have not been disappointed. My roommate and I love the atmosphere and positive energy that walking into the store brings. The employees are very friendly and really get to know you on a personal level. After I started going here at least once a week for a spray tan, I stumbled upon the eyelash extensions they do. Now I can't help myself from coming it to get fills and spray tans every week! Being from New York a spray tan and eyelash extensions can be very expensive, but they are very reasonable priced here as well! I was very excited when I first made my appointment because I heard nothing but good things about kaylyn. Unfortunately my hair came out the opposite of what I wanted, I've always been blonde and she turned the top of my hair orange. I had to get it fixed at another place temporarily for my pictures because of how bad it came out. Idk what was done but my blonde was turned darker and my medium brown roots were orange. She did offer to fix it but I did not want to risk going back and being unhappy again. The price of what I paid is around the same price as the other salons in tally that are A LOT better. Save your money and go elsewhere for hair colors. read more
