    Sun Chevrolet's service department is horrible! They over-charged me by 2.5 hours of labor on my first service visit with my brand new 2020 Corvette. I even have PDR footage proving this. I had to submit a complaint to the BBB and to GM due to their fraudulent business practices. Needless to say, avoid this place!

    My husband and I just bought a brand new Tahoe from Sarah at Sun. This is a first brand new car we have brought. This is our second large SUV we brought from Sarah at Sun. Sarah goes above and beyond to make buying a car easy. My husband works out of town and we have 4 kids it's alway crazy. We have to work around my husband's travel schedule and that is difficult. She always figures everything out and makes it super easy for us. We will be back when we are ready for another vehicle.

    Great experience. They were straight forward about the car I bought. No double talk. The deal was fair. Didn't try to upsell anything.

The waiting room is pleasant enough with lots of space, and there was a free coffee, service and clean restrooms. One of the things I like the most, is that they performed a full check and washed my car for me. That might seem a given, but my last dealership just checked off that they did these things, and after a few times I caught on that they were not actually doing any of them ,not topping all fluids, not checking the air in the tires, and definitely not washing the car. I appreciated how friendly everyone was, and the professionalism of the environment.

Specifically, they improved considerably after their new and improved building/garage opened. These days South Hills Honda Service is located in a new(er) building and garage (still on the same property though, so the address never changed). It was very obvious from my first visit that the updated space was making a big difference. It feels like it's helped the staff stay organized (i.e. actually doing the work requested and not mixing up files/orders like I mentioned in my last review). And I as the customer enjoy (well, at least appreciate) using their upgraded waiting area with functioning WiFi and comfortable seats. I've even brought my computer and worked remotely during my car's appointments multiple times. I feel like they hired some great new people over the years as well. The current staff are all helpful and transparent about what to expect, how work is going, and what work is in the pipeline (AKA "start saving for when the next service is due"). In addition to my regular service appointments taking place with no problems, I really need to give the team a lot of credit for their help when weird or annoying stuff happens (as it inevitably does when you drive a car). Oh, the screws holding your heat shield in place came loose? Bring the car in for an express repair (free of charge, no less). Oh, the battery in your remote key died but also the key doesn't manually unlock the door anymore? That's weird and will take a few days to work through but we'll keep you up to date on the work. (Seriously, ask me about that wild story sometime!) I am sure that sometimes I'm not in the best mood when at this service center, but truly: in the years since my last review my bad mood has never been a result of the service. Car repairs and the costs of driving add up and sometimes put a damper on anyone's day; but the work done by the Honda team is now consistently good, and I've always felt like they have my back when a problem comes up. So it's about darn time that I updated my review to reflect the positive changes that went into place over the years around here. See you next time, Honda!
