They have 3 grills on the water for cooking. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, 4 pillows to each, & decent water pressure. The staff from front desk to house keeping & pool/kayak attendants were all lovely. Fresh towels provided daily and additional towels provided by the pool. What more can you ask for? It looks like the property has been updated since our last visit last year the front desk staff is very nice and we also had a missing remote and they were helpful and finding a new one for us, the view is beautiful. You can see the lake from the Lakeview rooms. There is also a table with two chairs in the room that can be used as a breakfast table and there's chairs on the balcony. The only complaint I have is that the grill area really is not up to par. It's in a parking lot and I just wouldn't recommend grilling out there With all the beautiful parks around. the pool is very nice and not full and there is a nice fire pit with the Adirondack chairs. We stayed on the 2nd floor in a room with 2 queen size beds, which were not the most comfortable. However, the bathroom had a very spacious shower and great water pressure! In the mornings on our floor they provide free coffee and tea. Since we also had some time in between wedding festivities, we went to the hotel pool and had a nice time. We had a wonderful stay and fun fact- the hotel turned 100 years old following the week we were there!

Unsanitary, unsafe & horrible management Please don't believe the positive reviews!…read more August 2024 I never leave reviews, but I really don't want anyone else to have the terrible experience my family and I had on vacation at this terrible resort. We had a total of 45 family members staying here. The rooms are old, dirty, and poorly maintained. Some of the rooms had no hot water and the owner Lenny, said that he tries to regulate the hot water. The lock on the entry door to our room was broken and difficult to lock. Lenny checked it out and said you have play with it, and it isn't going to be like your lock at home, you have to play with it. If you rent the big house on the premise, it smelled and had cobwebs on the chandeliers and in the kitchen. Also, keep in mind that the owner lives on the top floor. Its very odd! The two bedrooms both had holes in the walls from the door knobs. The bathroom is tiny with a very old tub and sink. The next day we rented boats. Lenny and another worker set the boats up. I expressed I didn't know how to swim and needed life jackets. They got the life jackets, but once we were already out on the boats, we realized there were none on it. I called the owner Lenny and he wasn't apologetic and kept saying he couldn't believe they weren't on the boat. I checked again with him on the phone and there were none on it. He then brought us the life jackets on the lake. Other family members were on another boat that broke down on the water. Lenny came and made light of it, said he knew there was an issue with the boat, and told them to wait on the boat while he went to talk to a mechanic at dock. Again he never apologized or offered any compensation for their lost boat time. Upon returning my boat, he didn't apologize and then proceeded to tell us that we damaged the propellor on the engine. There was no way we did and and he was so nasty about it. My husband and I started arguing with him. Immediately he started saying I'm going to call the cops. I expressed how with any complaint we made, he made light of it, and never tried to rectify the situation. We got nowhere with him and decided to leave. Please read the other negative comments because they are true! He must be writing his own positive reviews!

It has direct beach access with kayak rentals for a fee. There aren't many other places to actually access the lake in Lake George. The room was clean, had working A/C and beds were fine. There were some chips and blemishes in the shower. That won't deter the majority of residents that visit this "resort". Many guests here were simply trashy. Creating makeshift clotheslines all over the place, spitting gum on random carpets, claiming beach chairs with inflatables and towels for the entire week, leaving their fishing gear all over the docks...for the week, blocking shared walkway balconies so nobody else could pass, smoking and cursing wherever they please, plainly doing whatever they want. Workers weren't much better. One guy was spray painting a railing mid-day right between the pool and beach, without a care about where the mist travels. This is also where the tables are for eating. If you'd like to stay at a convenient dump with trashy guests, this is the place. Don't forget to stop by their "restaurant". Most pictures online make it look like a glamorous resort, but it's simply a trashy campground. Suggestions for management: Simply clean up the image based on what I described.

I went to the one North-West of Cresthaven instead of the one in the town. About 10 minutes drive with larger parking lot. Didn't try out the pool but looks pretty fun.

I was meeting an old friend in the area and all I knew was that it seemed affordable, rustic, and a down-to-earth type of place. Just what I was looking for... a little getaway for some R&R on the lake! Pretty tired from the trip and as I started bringing in luggage I realize that the place was much larger than I had anticipated . ( I had spruce cottage 2 bd 2 bath& 2 screened in porches) It was very, very clean. And as I was starting to put some of my things away, I realize that all the bedding was new ... new towels. new ... cozy throw blankets all looked new. I always appreciate that kind of touch because once again I'm up here to relax so having a comfy bed with new linens, comfy throw blankets and comfy towels is a plus The lake is beautiful & there are kayaks and other water toys available at no extra charge. That's a plus . A lot of places will charge extra for those type of things but not here. There's also fishing poles if you're so inclined. My favorite was probably the deck that's right on the lake. The morning light is beautiful and in the morning the lake looks like glass. It's so serene . There's a grill that you can use so a couple times we had barbecues. There's also a fire pit. Amy is the woman who manages Glenmoore . She's a class act! She's so incredibly helpful & friendly! Anything I needed was tended to immediately with a smile on her face! She makes the place feel like home! I think Glenmoore has been around for possibly 100 years!! Wow ! I was in the main lodge & I was poking around looking at games etc and found brochures from a long time ago. It was so interesting to see this place that is so rich in history. Last but not least in the main lodge in the morning, Amy had made homemade banana bread. It was perfect with my morning coffee. Alicia and Kerrie have created a place that is based on extreme hospitality and such individually crafted care for each guest. We were able to cook a few meals in complete kitchens in our cabin, alongside Kerries famous bagels he served throughout our weeks stay. Fresh fruit and coffee were also provided every morning and coffee both hot and iced was available all day long. Lakeside we sat, swam, fished, boated and just relaxed. There's so many reason to support this wonderful couple and their business, but hospitality, would be the biggest reason I will site! We will be back and hope you will consider this amazing resort!! Only 15 mins from Lake George! You will not regret it!
