The tender moist beef slices on a roll were very good. The Ginger dressing on the salad was flavorful, and I wish I could buy it to elevate salads at home. We enjoyed the Red Bean Ice Cream which is creamy with tidbits of bean. Outstanding. Service was attentive, friendly, and efficient! Ambiance is relaxed which was welcome after shopping on Wolf Road. And the bucket chairs are so comfortable.

The tea was wonderful and our lunch items came quickly and were tasty. We asked to keep a menu, explaining we would like to get dessert after. Once we we received our lunch food, it quickly went downhill. We never saw our waitress again after that. My son finished his Boba tea and wanted another, but our waitress never came over to check on us. We sat for over 40 minutes after we recieved our initial order and not one waitstaff came over to ask if we wanted anything else, nor did they come over to give us the check. After giving up hope of dessert and more tea, we eventually went to the front counter to pay since we realized no one was coming to give us the bill. Normally, I would understand if it was understaffed or busy- yet the two parties next to us had waitstaff come over numerous times. We were literally ignored. We won't be back and I do not recommend.

We arrived right when they opened at 10 a.m. and were seated immediately, which was great. We initially considered sitting inside, but the smell of eggs was so overwhelming/nauseating that we opted for outdoor seating instead. The patio was charming and cozy. The service was friendly, attentive, and one of the highlights of our visit. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. We all ordered the brunch tower, which included a "fruit salad" that consisted of squishy grapes, sour Granny Smith apple chunks, and canned mandarin oranges. The fruit tasted low quality and unappetizing, and I only managed a few bites. I also ordered the bananas foster crepe, which was severely overcooked. The crepe was so tough that I needed a knife to cut through it, and the texture was far from what I would expect from a crepe. Overall, while the service was pleasant and seating was prompt, the food quality left a lot to be desired, especially considering the price point.

I wasn't a fan of the orzo salad unfortunately; it was too tangy for my taste. I love the building and its history. The ghost stories are fun to hear about. Their service is exceptional; the guys are so kind! My only complaints are that it's pretty cold inside in the winter and it was a bit smelly as we were seated right next to the busing bins, which appear to need a deep clean.

The atmosphere immediately sets the tone: warm lighting, clean and intentional décor, and a sense of quiet sophistication that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. What truly sets The Tailored Tea apart is its commitment to customization and quality. The tea selection is extensive without feeling overwhelming, and everything is presented with care and intention. Whether you're a casual tea drinker or someone who knows the difference between oxidation levels in oolong, the staff takes time to guide you toward something that genuinely fits your taste. That "tailored" aspect isn't just a name--it's the philosophy. I ordered a blended herbal tea that was recommended based on my flavor preferences, and it was exceptional: balanced, aromatic, and layered without being overpowering. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and nothing tastes rushed or artificial. Even the presentation--the cups, the pours, the little details--adds to the sense that this place values the full sensory experience. Service deserves special mention. The staff is attentive in a calm, unhurried way that feels genuine rather than scripted. They're knowledgeable without being pretentious, and they clearly enjoy helping guests explore new flavors. It feels more like a guided experience than a transaction. The space itself is also worth highlighting. It's quiet enough for reading or working, but still inviting enough for conversation. Everything from the seating to the music contributes to a relaxed but refined ambiance. It's the kind of place where time seems to slow down in the best possible way. Overall, The Tailored Tea is more than just a tea shop--it's an experience in personalization and mindfulness. Whether you're stopping in for a quick cup or settling in for an afternoon escape, it delivers consistently on quality, atmosphere, and care. I would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, elevated tea experience.

Man, do I love talking to actual people. Specifically, Cindy at Ruby & Quiri…read more If you're in the market for appliances, if you're lucky you have two choices: local shop, or big box store. In my experience, you're going to be a lot happier with the local shop. Ruby & Quiri is no exception. When you order from a Home Depot or a Lowe's, you have to go through their stupid websites and they'll tell you the next delivery date and then it'll probably be late and you have to call for over an hour to find an actual person and wait longer while they find the right person... I've dealt with Ruby & Quiri twice now, for a fridge and then just recently a dishwasher, and they've done right by me each time. Last week, I called in and told Cindy what kind of dishwasher I was looking for and how I was in a time crunch. She was kind enough to walk me through what options they had, and then when they didn't have the exact one in stock, she went and talked to the folks on the floor and got me the floor model that matched my needs. She made sure it was in good condition, and then talked to the delivery folks who said they could throw it on a truck tomorrow even though the next delivery window was supposed to be the following week. This is the benefit of dealing with a local business. They want to make the sale, and they want to help you get what you want. I'll definitely be giving them my business again.
