She also loaned me a phone charger for the night and had one of the linemen drive me to the hotel at no charge whatsoever. Pegasus was recommended to us by a local hotel (for wedding guest transport), and all of the Google reviews are glowing! However, right from the start, customer service seemed to be severely lacking. I requested a quote online on Monday (immediately received an automated email acknowledging my request and indicating that I would receive a response "very soon"). I waited until Wednesday - after not receiving any communication, I followed up via email (the email they have listed on their site). Waited until Friday. Still nothing. I called first thing in the morning on Friday, but apparently while their hours are 6am-5pm, their Sales Team does not start until 8am. No biggie. The lady on the phone took down my name and number and told me that someone would give me a call before 9am. (side note: I did not mention my 2 previous requests... simply approached it like a brand new inquiry) 11:30am rolled around - nothing. So I called again - this time I did mention that I had called in the morning and didn't receive a call back. I finally got through to someone on the Sales Team, and she gave me her email address (I believe this was her direct email address, as it is not the same as the one listed on their website) and told me what information she needs me to include in my email. I emailed her all of the information within minutes of hanging up the phone. I received a proposal about 3.5hrs later, reviewed it and found that it did not take into account the details I had provided. I replied to the quote within 20 minutes of receiving it, requesting a quote with the details I had already provided. Today is now Thursday of the following week, and I've not received any response or updated quote. I've decided to book with another transit provider. Update: it's now Tuesday of the next week and I've finally received an updated quote. 2025 Update: I received a phone call from Pegasus in the second week of March 2025 inquiring if I was still interested in their services. lol

My truck had recently undergone some repairs and unfortunately did not pass the smog test. Instead of simply sending me on my way, he took the time to explain what I needed to do. He advised me to drive the truck around town with plenty of stop-and-go driving and to take it on a longer drive outside of Ventura to help put more miles on it so it would be more likely to pass the next smog check. He also recommended that I keep my vehicle registration and my Smogies invoice with me in case I were to get pulled over while driving before the retest. That level of attention to detail and genuine care is hard to find these days. My husband and I prefer Smogies over any other smog shop. The helpful information, honesty, and excellent customer service are exactly why we continue bringing our vehicles here. Highly recommended!

Literally minutes from farmers market on Sundays, Toppers Pizza, Peninsula Park for another nice stroll or picnic area next to Hampton Inn, a wide open, free parking and zero crowd Hollywood Beach. Don't think you can find a single soul that doesn't like this area. Great to walk through the streets of the community homes and get severely depressed; borderline suicidal you didn't buy these a decade ago for a quarter of the price.

You can walk south down the pathway and follow it back up towards the Channel Islands Harbor but you can't cross over. You would have to back track from which you came. It's a good 45-60 minute walk if you start over by the Coffee Bean and head down to the Harbor Island Lane then up along the private property on the water and then back. There are lots of restaurants and business along the marina that has great views and lots of benches along the walking path. There are public park restrooms near the playground. I have come here on my breaks to take in some fresh air and beautiful marina views. I highly recommend walking the pathway.
