Thankfully, it was 4 miles away, so we crawled into the shop, as carefully as we could, and they got us right in and fixed the problem in fewer than 30 minutes. Super fast, incredible friendly, and affordable service. This shop was an absolute godsend. I had a very hard time believing that so we told them I was coming to pick her car up with a trailer the following weekend. They then tell us that they will be charging like $20 a day for the car to sit in their lot. Long story short, we had AAA tow it from their shop to the one I work at in Norwalk. They had told us that oil was everywhere under the hood and the motor was toast. I checked it out and found coolant everywhere, not oil. I then found that the water pump had locked up causing the timing belt to melt and shred itself which ultimately caused the motor to jump time and not run. I spent a little over $200 on a timing belt kit and fixed the car no problem instead of listening to their nonsense and putting a whole new motor in it which would have cost thousands!

I have heard good things about his work from any local car place I've talked to. Leon is honest. His diagnoses of car issues are skilled and accurate. Before I bought a used car recently, he evaluated it free of charge, and caught an issue that another mechanic had missed. Leon goes above and beyond the call of duty. He has fit my car into his schedule quickly to do brief check-outs and diagnoses at no charge, though he is very busy. He is easy to communicate with because he is direct, respectful and patient. Cars are not my forte, and I've never been talked down to, or experienced condescension.

I decided to place a request on Yelp for someone to give us a estimate on the repairs. Thirty minutes later I received an e-mail estimate from Elijah from Whitley Automotive. The estimate was more than reasonable and we brought the car to him to repair later that week. The job was done in a timely fashion and we went ahead and asked him if he could do an oil change as well. He said give him an hour and the car was ready to be picked up.
