Horrible service hands down. If you or your loved ones are on Medicare and also happen to be a 100% disabled veteran. DO NOT GO TO THIS HORRIBLE company I have very good insurances ( blue cross/ blue shield federal and Medicare) I'm young for Medicare (combat related disabilities) I'm just concerned with the number of senior citizens who live local that may not be able to even identify the below the table tactics they use in billing, just think about the number of seniors in cen-Tex that have dermatology needs come up from the sun alone. I'm gonna try to keep this short, but it won't be! I initially went into this Derm in fall/winter of '24 The provider burnt/froze off several skin things and she informed me I need to have procedure to cut out some danger areas. I agreed and I said, in the room with the provider and 2-3 nurses, "I'm gonna wait to schedule in January because I will have Medicare coverage along with bc/bs" they all agreed that was probably the best to wait until covered by BOTH insurances, did I expect any of those providers to pass on that reasoning to the front desk gals? Nope, that would mean going above and beyond and "it ain't my job" type of attitude. I then showed my Medicare card and they copied it in the temple office after Jan 1, 2025. I again produced my Medicare card in mid January at the Waco office. I went into the temple office the first week of February ( follow up from procedure) I was informed that I would have to sign a contract and pay outta pocket that day or I would not be seen that day (yes, with 2 VERY good insurances on their books!) Can you imagine having it announced for the lobby to hear that, embarrassing to say the least? I was confused and agreed to pay $200 out of pocket for 3 months!? I received a notice from bc/bs that they weren't paying a bill for over $1800!! I was thrilled to hear they won't get a penny until they get my Medicare added to my account. Now, of course I can't get the $200 dollars back that I paid out of pocket b/c well, I don't really know. I finally got a "supervisor" who didn't want to solve the problem but talk over me and it was obvious she wasn't listening to help the issue, she just wanted to "win" the conversation... great leadership all around. A real shame, all the front desk gals were very nice, but it appears they act/don't act out of fear of leadership and the "ceo" I explained to her ("supervisor") how I provided my Medicare card was provided immediately after start date (Jan 1, 2025) She then pivots from stonewalling with assistance to stating "Medicare can take 40 days to pay/ for me to show up in system!?" Ok, since this "supervisor" knows that's the case, why would they perform work on me knowing it will take 40 days to get in system and they will deny me Txment the next time?! Unless I pay $200 out of pocket that day They literally know how Medicare pays slow, I don't!! Horrible customer service, except for front desk women. They have shown their true colors of being in it for the money; no compassion for patients who are "strong armed" into paying out of pocket after they have 2 up to date insurances to use. If you read all this, I highly encourage you to peruse all the other horrible things this below board business ( my opinion) has done. I was informed that I needed to see a wound specialist over the phone. Wasn't even able to book an appointment. I went to an ER and they told me I needed to see a dermatologist, so I'm at a loss at to where to get help for my medical condition. Sadly disappointed. read more

I am an internal medicine physician and I was a patient at Temple Dermatology for a condition that I had been dealing with for over 30years. Bottom line is there was zero thought put into my evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. How can you make a plan without knowing what all could have contributed to my condition. My "provider" does not know what I have tried in the past, my allergies or any medications that I take. Kept referring to a rash even after I repeatedly reported that there wasn't actually a physical manifestation of my condition. Bottom line is, the trip all the way out there was a waste of my time. All office staff and dermatologist were all knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Office was busy but I was seen quickly. Only concern I had was one of the aides had a horrible cough and appeared to be very ill. Please allow employees sick days or at the least require masks if they are so I'll. Made me very uncomfortable being in a small room with her. I will use them again despite this as I know sometimes there are reasons for working while ill. read more

First time patient. Waiting room was fine, looked like a lot of appointments ahead of me, then they were all called in a reasonable amount of time and I had an average 15-20 minute wait, then was seen by Ashley PA and her assistant. The exam went well and treatment was performed with not problems. Overall, It was a good experience, and I look forward to returning. Note: there seem to be some negative experiences other folks have had at this office in the past. My objective assessment is that it seems to be running smoothly enough. Perhaps there was an office mgr. who dropped the ball or left the practice on short notice at the time. That doesn't mean that the level of medical care and the professionals in the office rendering it are not competent or caring. Staff are so helpful and courteous, it is easy to make and change appointments, and I have always been treated in a professional manner.

Temple Dermatology gave me a terrible feeling from the start. I was the first patient in the waiting room when I witnessed trash overflowing from the waste bin; the floor needed to be cleaned, and the lighting was dim. This office did not give you the appearance of a professional environment. I completed all documents 15 minutes before my appt. I waited 30 minutes past my appt and had yet to be seen. So, I canceled my appt because if I am expected to be on time, I expect the provider to be on time or at least announce that they are running behind. I hope you have better service. read more

Experienced care in removing my age spots. Customer care is always positive. Almost always on time in seeing me.

I started losing my hair in the crown of me head last year when I started receiving care at Temple Dermatology. My hair has grown several inches and continuing to grow.
