I have been looking for a new vet in Princeton for my 70ish pound dog and we found it here! From the receptionist, to the vet techs, to the veterinarian, amazing! Highly recommended!

We have enjoyed summit very well. They have helped my brother with his dog Delilah in so many ways you've given my brother. Peace each time he has brought her in and I thank you for all you have done

Dr. Kelley has been my dogs' (and a cat too!) vet since 2009.  I've followed her to several different clinics after tracking her down because she is the only one I trust with my fur babies. So glad she has finally opened her own practice! One of my guys was a tough case.  She saved his life on FOUR different occasions, due to him consuming inedibles (he loves socks) which results in surgery.  All the staff members are very friendly and you can really tell how much they care for the animals. If you want the best care possible for you pets in DFW, this is your place!

We Absolutely Love Farmersville Veterinarian Clinic…read more This has been our Vet for the nearly 30yrs my husband and I have rescued dumped dogs and cats. Starting with Dr Carter, Dr Lane, Dr Spangler, and now Dr Wise! These men have been the Very Best of the Best!! My husband found an elderly dog, in very bad condition, wondering down. After about 3hours of bathing, cutting mats, feeding, treating fleas and a serious skin issue we were finally able to make him comfortable enough to sleep. The next morning I called Farmersville Vet, per usual they were so busy, but squeezed me in. I had also made a post in our community fb page. Just before I was to leave for the Vet, an older neighbor lady, called to say she thought that was her old boy, Boston. Boston had accidentally gotten out a few weeks earlier, while she was gone. She search for days but could not find him. I picked her up and off to the Vet we went. The Most Amazing Dr Wise, even in the midst of his busy day, was so thorough. Checked his ears, his eyes, his skin, his mouth, his feet and teeth, all for infection. Dr Wise treated his ears, gave him an injection to help with the itchy skin, gave us an antibiotic, tested his old eyes for ulcerations. He took the time, he spoke so kindly to my neighbor lady, he was so very good to her poor old wandering boy. And today, Boston is so much better and happy to be home. I am so very thankful for Dr Wise, he is the very best, so kind, very thorough. I could not speak more highly of Dr Wise and Farmersville Veterinarian Clinic.

He has been paralyzed for over a year, and these issues are new. We arrived with Scooby on his gurney. Although we were only about 5 minutes late, we never even made it to an exam room. Dr. Spangle spent approximately one minute with us in the entry area while staff gathered around staring at Scooby and whispering amongst themselves. After what felt like a 9 second observation, Dr. Spangle immediately concluded that Scooby's problems were chronic inflammation and bed sores. He then began offering unsolicited opinions about Scooby's quality of life without asking questions about his daily care, home environment, or medical history. Scooby is a pampered prince who is deeply loved and cared for, and it was frustrating to hear assumptions being made without taking the time to learn anything about him. What was especially concerning was that Dr. Spangle identified areas as bed sores that he never properly examined. He even referred to an old scar from a previous dog altercation as a bed sore when it was not one. The area we were actually concerned about, which is pictured in the attached photo, was not examined before conclusions were reached. In my opinion, it was clearly more than a simple bed sore and deserved a more thorough evaluation. Scooby can not even sit on his butt. The appointment ended with Dr. Spangle abruptly walking away and having staff check us out. We were sent home with antibiotic cream that felt more like it was given to humor us than as part of a thorough diagnosis or treatment plan. I do not know how much experience Dr. Spangle has with large paralyzed dogs, but he certainly cannot add Scooby to his list of patients that contributed to his experience or critical thinking skills. We left feeling dismissed, judged, and no closer to understanding what was actually causing our dog's condition. What was most frustrating was that we were never given the opportunity to discuss additional diagnostics. There was no offer of blood work, no skin scrape, no skin culture, no cytology, and no testing of any kind before conclusions were made. Dr. Spangle appeared to determine the cause of Scooby's condition from a brief visual observation alone. If a veterinarian can diagnose skin conditions with complete certainty from across a room in under a minute, then he must have microscope eyes.

They recently moved to a beautiful new facility, and their service has only gotten better, if that's even possible (It was pretty darn amazing before the move). It's incredibly easy to get appointments, and you never feel rushed. When it was time to put our older dog to rest, Dr. J.M. Stalling provided such compassionate care, truly treating our pet like a valued, very-loved family member - as she was to us. He explained every detail, gave us options, and allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye before, during & after the process. All of the vets here treat your pets with the same importance as human patients. Their follow-through is stellar, with doctors personally calling after hours to check on test results and health issues. I will never go anywhere else as long as I have pets & live within 30 minutes of the location! P.S. I was compelled to leave a review because I am surprised by some of the negative comments posted here. I have only ever witnessed the staff being kind and respectful to clients/patients & co-workers. Also, it's unfortunate, but it seems some people dealing with the stress of a pet who is ill or the heartbreak of a pet loss may be misdirecting their emotions towards the practice.

Additionally, we requested our digs medical records and they will not provide them. On the morning of our appointment, we dropped our dog off at 8:00 a.m. for grooming. We were not informed at that time that grooming would not begin until approximately 2:00 p.m., nor that he would remain crated the entire day. We picked him up at 4:00 p.m. Our dog is a recently adopted rescue who suffers from severe anxiety and abandonment issues. We have only had him for approximately three weeks. The veterinary team at McKinney Animal Hospital is fully aware of his background and emotional condition, as we brought him in for a veterinary visit immediately after adopting him. Given this knowledge, it is extremely concerning that he was left in a crate all day without food and separated from his family for an extended and unnecessary period of time. Had we been informed at drop-off that he would not be groomed until 2:00 p.m., we would never have left him there for that length of time. In addition to the prolonged crating and lack of feeding, our dog was completely shaved. While he did have some matting, I had already removed several mats myself, and there was no justification provided for shaving him to the extent that they did. When we arrived to pick him up, we were genuinely unsure whether the dog presented to us was ours. His appearance had been altered so drastically that he looked like a completely different dog. He was also acting extremely timid and withdrawn, as though he did not recognize us. The entire experience was heartbreaking. When we expressed our disappointment and concerns, the manager on duty, Pamela, brought the groomer into the discussion. While we were calmly explaining that our dog has anxiety and abandonment issues and that he should not have been left crated all day, the groomer responded by stating that it was "probably because of us" that the dog has anxiety and abandonment issues. This statement was inappropriate, unprofessional, and deeply disrespectful. Although the manager immediately told the groomer she could not say that, the damage had already been done and the situation unnecessarily escalated. Throughout the conversation, there was no meaningful ownership of the situation. Instead, we were told that we had authorized a complete shave, which we absolutely did not. If we had been told that shaving him entirely was the only option, we would have declined the service and groomed him at home. Additionally, we were required to purchase flu shots and a fecal test before grooming could be performed, totaling approximately $120. The overall bill was approximately $250. When we requested a refund for the grooming service due to our dissatisfaction, we were offered only 10% off and a $60 credit. A credit is not acceptable, as we will not be returning. Given the circumstances, this resolution is inadequate. The lack of communication, disregard for our dog's known anxiety issues, prolonged crating without food, drastic grooming without proper consent, and the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of the groomer reflect a serious failure in customer service and animal care standards. Due to this experience, we will not be returning to McKinney Animal Hospital. I urge other pet owners to carefully consider their options before entrusting their pets to this facility for grooming services. The manager Pamela and the owner Janel took no ownership or accountability for how our dog was handled nor their disrespect or unprofessionalism of their dog groomer. They simply did not care.

EVERY single interaction is them pushing unnecessary services that are obscenely over priced. Even the vets will quietly tell you about more reasonably priced services, to seek out. I've had MANY pets, - dogs, bearded dragons, goats, donkeys, they have always helped me with all of them. But it was a most recent horrible decision I had to make to put one of my dog babies to sleep that will ALWAYS stand out as the most important I have ever had with Allen Animal Clinic, specifically with Dr. Balie White. I've known Dr. White through this clinic for about 15 years. Jagger was 14 years old and was having many problems, but the worst were with his legs and calluses on his elbows. Dr. White always helped Jagger (and me) with competency, kindness and compassion that you need for your pets.
