He's very effective in his approach, as well as a kind, gentle person. My father is very ill and had been having a lot of neck and shoulder pain for several days. Allen was kind enough to agree to visit him in the treatment center and gave him a massage there. My father reported that it completely eliminated the pain he had been having. He then proceeded to call me a "drama queen." I just replied in tears, "it just hurts really bad." Regardless of what a patient is doing, simple professionalism does not allow for name calling. Today, after enduring four months of foot pain, I finally called and requested an appointment, and I was thrilled that I could be seen today. Taylor Menard examined my x rays and gave me a list of recommendations, all of which I followed, and within hours, the pain I'd had for months had vanished and I could finally walk normally, without limping. The young woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, and none of the health care providers were condescending or impatient. They carefully explained my options and patiently listed to my questions. I noticed a negative review about staff from nine years ago, and all if can say is that the staff he complained about must have all left; the staff I've met with couldn't possibly be better or more professional. My only request is that it would be nice to have a sign at the main entry of the hospital, because I had trouble finding the office the first time I came in.

I have seen him off and on for years, sent my daughter to him, and recommended him to one of my coworkers who thinks highly of him. His new office is clean and matches his level of professionalism. I would highly recommend him, although he is starting to get up there in age and only works M,W,F and Tuesday mornings. But he is strong, friendly, and an excellent chiropractor. He uses electric pads that loosen up your back prior to pressing on it. I think this helps significantly since there were times when my back was super tight and he had to really work at it. When I first went to him after my back was injured, I explained I had so many appointments covered by my insurance and the stopped treatment when my back was fixed, which was before that number was exhausted. So he is also honest. If you have any concerns about going to a chiropractor, as I did, see him. He will ease your fears and get you back on your feet.

I was experiencing blood sugar swings that were impacting my heart rate and making me have frequent waves of feeling awful. These hypo and hyper swings were being recorded on a Dexcom continuous blood sugar monitor. She said she didn't believe that I was having blood sugar swings. I offered to share the Dexcom readings which make it easy to share the data with your doctor. She refused to receive them. I had an appointment with an endocrinologist that was five months out. I asked if she could utilize the specialist consultation service she advertises for just such occasions and she refused. When I was finally able to see the endocrinologist, they did labs, adjusted my thyroid medication, added a thyroid medication, added another hormone supplement and after 10 months of suffering I was feeling great again within a week. If you try Dr. Jones and you feel she is dismissing you, trust yourself and find someone else.
