Summit Pacific Urgent Care Unit has always been really quick with getting me checked in, seen, and diagnosed every time I have needed to go to Urgent Care. Staff is friendly, helpful, and caring. My regular doctor was Terra Grandmason, and it broke my heart when she left. I feel she is by far the best doctor to have ever passed through that hospital. I was always in and out within an 1 1/2hrs. E.R. is MUCH slower... I came in one night because I had been in excruciating pains for days and eventually was in so much pain I couldn't move and my fiancé had to actually help me get dressed and brush my hair because I was unable to. I arrived and had to wait nearly 6 1/2 hours just to get seen and get results back from X-Ray/MRI. My nurse and doctor clearly hadn't communicated, seeing how my doctor prescribed me something for pain and my nurse claimed he didn't plan to give me anything for my pain. I ended up going home and returning at 2am because the pain worsened and I started vomiting. Turned out the nurse was a moron and missed that he did prescribe me something and they ended up shredding the paperwork instead of calling me back or faxing it over to the pharmacy etc. THEN come to find out the second doctor that night prescribed me a MOOD stabilizer and something for anxiety instead of something for my pain. My mom's a nurse and when she saw what I was taking she was livid. Needless to say I'll never return to their E.R. again. Incompetent people working in there. read more

I accompanied my best friend for an outpatient procedure on 12/8/2025. We arrived on time and she was taken back as scheduled. However, there were issues during the post-op assessment. When my friend explained that she had already addressed the concern that was delaying the endoscopy, the anesthesiologist, Michael S. Fisher, became combative and judgmental. Another physician, Bisher Abdullah, also raised his voice at both of us. When we were simply trying to understand why the procedure could not continue, both physicians responded with hostility and impatience. At one point, my friend gently lifted the adhesive around her catheter--not removing it, only loosening the tape because of previous painful experiences--and clearly communicated this. Despite that, Fisher began yelling at her again. The level of disrespect and lack of professional bedside manner we experienced was shocking. My friend was not treated with the dignity and care that patients deserve. If possible, I strongly recommend seeking treatment elsewhere, as our encounter with these physicians was rude, dismissive, and entirely unprofessional. read more

The billing is handled horribly. My son's ER visit was put on a separate account, even though it was the same parent that brought him in and same person on insurance etc. Also we get different information regarding medical concerns depending on who we see. I definitely miss the services we had in Vancouver. Will be moving elsewhere for medical treatment. read more

This place truly sucks! Have you show up 15 minutes early for an appointment just to make you wait 30 fucking minutes to have to reschedule. Bring that concern up to the receptionists, and the guy says that people have waited longer here before. Weird flex. Better off going somewhere else. Got sent no paperwork and showed up before appt ( 15 early) to check in. I was told I was across the parking lot in the third floor, shuffled across parking lot to be told wrong clinic completely. I had to drive to other clinic ( Mcleary) and was already late by now. Person at clinic I left said she would send a message to the Mcleary clinic and was told provider waits 9 minutes past appt. I got there 11 minutes late to be told by the provider they would not see me and I had to reschedule. I chose not to, booked this appointment two months out and took time off work. Just received a letter today saying I was a no show. Not sure how the provider herself can deny me my appt while Im standing in the lobby to becoming a no show appointment. Horrible experience. If I could rate 100 Stars I would , They Went above and beyond They are compassionate And Caring Went To the ER From sitting at Harbor Regional Health for 3 hours My husband was in Agonizing pain they did nothing at all Assumed he was drug seeking I'm guessing . Summit Got him comfortable and evaluated and sent to St. Peter's in less time than Harbor Regional Health he needed emergency surgery. There was no reason for it and was discharged with a hour there. They lied to us saying we can't take her there but must take the ambulance. It is hard to believe that this place stays in business. But as they told me on one visit there "we are only here because we are federally mandated to be here." Obviously, they can't follow HIPAA laws because they only have a few rooms. I have been there when there are only a few people & they still take hours to see you. Don't expect anyone to actually care, you're in the poorest county in Washington I had a doctor working there tell me that. Doctors & staff come here & fill in, but not because they want to. A nurse was sitting at the counter talking to her co-workers & I heard her telling them "they don't pay me enough to come all the way out here." I wasn't far from the nurse's counter because they had me sitting there waiting because the small place was packed. I watched a Mom with a very sick child walk out because we had all been waiting hours to be seen. After waiting all night I finally went up & asked them if I was still on a list to be seen. All I needed was a shot of an antibiotic, I had a severe UTI. I had to wait all night & hear major complaints from staff just to get that. Do not expect decent health care from Summit in their ER or in their medical practice, they are only there because they have to be! read more

Comparatively. another hospital in Grays Harbor County has benn rude telling me I was late and the nurse had me misconstrued with a female patient. and I am male !!!! Summit pacific E.R. is a joke I went in to have a CT scan and after waiting 3 hours the Dr told me he couldn't do one and I would have to come back in the morning. I went back and got the CT scan done and of course I get billed for both days. That is complete crap why should I get billed for two visits when the Dr is the one that told me to come back? This place used to be amazing. Now it's horrid. Azarie does scheduling and is not good at it. Schedules people months out and then calls them at 7:30 am which is before they are supposed to call people to schedule any kind of contact. To say hey I'm canceling you cause I scheduled you with someone who doesn't do the medicine you need. This is retarted service. and wrong. People wait months to see doctors and expect the professionals in that office to do the job correctly and this is multiple times this has happened now. For the majority my experience of Summit has been mostly positive. I have a few issues with the billing department, but today I was floored by my experience over the phone trying to schedule an appointment. Clearly this person needs to brush up on their customer service skills, as well as technical skills. I stated my name was the same as hers, she tried to put me on hold, but didn't, and proceeded to make fun of me to her peer. I told her I could hear her, and she apologized- but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. God forbid I have a life threatening situation, I would have died waiting for a response from you. You are hands down, the worst and most neglectful doctor and medical facility I've ever worked with...don't make me mention that E R nurse practioner who left me and a toddler in the ER for 6-7 hours then tried to send us both home with no treatment. I had sinus and ear infection a week (I read on the net they wouldn't prescribe anything for at least a week ) then it didn't go away or get better. I went to urgent care they gave me doxycycline after 4 days I went back cuz it didn't feel like it was doing anything.. they said lots of pressure in your ear and prescribed something like Aleve‍ I did not take it. I continued with my ibuprofen I have a CDL and I let them know everytime... Then about 4 days later I start getting dizzy and can't turn my head or stand up fast unless I'm holding on to something yes you can get vertigo from inner ear fluid went to urgent care again an sat for almost 2 hrs for them to bring me in a council room. I told them what was going on an they sent me to the ER to wait another 2hrs . That guy basically said your ears look fine an take ibuprofen and stay home I called my care provider and they said again they don't take upper respiratory problems... WTH so back to urgent care today 4th time in 3 weeks told her what was still going on an yes I mentioned I drive truck with a CDL.... She said it sounds like you probably do have fluid in your inner ear an prescribed meclizine‍ this is what dangers it poses Why is meclizine a high risk medication? Meclizine is dangerous because it masks the symptoms of dizziness and vertigo to reduce discomfort, but does not correct the underlying problem. The lack of root cause leaves the person with a balance impairment that has not been addressed, even if they no longer feel dizzy or spinny on the medication.Jul 25, 2020 WOW AND THAT OTHER MEDICINE WAS Naproxen like Aleve ... Almost 4 weeks now sinus is still there but doesn't hurt as bad.... Ear is definitely still there ,, it's now a dull pain with a little dizziness..... We went in for knee and ankle issues. We were afraid both were broken and needed surgery. We were rushed in, giving us a wheelchair. The X-ray as done immediately. They thoroughly checked his ankle and knee. Gave us crutches and a boot. We were in there a total of 43 minutes. It was quick and easy. Staff was very nice, listened, and explained all issues completely. They were amazing. read more

The amount of things wrong with this place... if your dr doesn't k or what's wrong with you the answer is to just give up and ignore you. You can never get ahold of anyone for questions, not even on my chart. You will be ignored. The ER has some very rude nurses who should be fired for the way they talk to patients. I could go on. I have not had a pleasant experience with this place at all. Nice building but it's a very worthless place and there is no point in going here, because if you've got something seriously wrong with you the chances of them finding it before it kills you are slim to none. Sad that this is the hospital we get in Elma and sad that the owners are okay with this. My children are seen here and have an absolutely wonderful NP take care of them. There was one mishap with an incorrect vaccine administered to my infant (long story) but turned out to be totally fine. The waiting area in the new clinic has some cleanliness issues. I wrote to SPMC regarding this and didn't hear anything back. Came in first thing on a Monday morning...hoards and hoards of dead insects all over the floor by the windows. Gross. I came here for imaging and learned to never do that again. Over $1200 billed for a confirmation of pregnancy usn (literally was in the room for no longer than 4 minutes, not exaggerating whatsoever). TRA in Oly bills just under $400(actually, I think even less than that) for an anatomical scan of your fetus. This fact alone makes me want to vomit when I think of the sheer crookery but I do continue to bring my kids here as we do receive exceptional care from their NP. Also, billing department is a mess. I have spent countless hours on the phone(for 2 years now) with them trying to correct very simple billing issues that to this day are still not resolved. read more

I recently moved to Mccleary because this is where my husband grew up. I had stomachs ulcer problems so I got a doctor at the clinic after waiting months in advance. the stomach medication I was given had too much side effects and I couldn't complete the treatment, it gave me a severe terrible UTI and I when I told the doc she had me go to the urgent care clinic to get a urine test done, then the people who were there tell me I don't have a UTI and it must be something else. like how do you mess something up that simple? So I tell my doctor what they told me and so she told me to go to the main building. After they tested me again and did a culture, they found that It was positive, I was so upset about how long I had to wait and then they only administered 3 antibiotic pills! My condition was not mild, it was severe, how is 3 pills going to kill all the bacteria in only 3 days? After taking the pills I wasn't fully healed and instead of suffering through trying to tell them it's not enough, I just drank massive amounts of cranberry juice with a stomach ulcer giving me so much pain. I'm a healthy person and I rarely go to the doctors. I feel like this place is afraid to distribute medicine to people. Maybe they have to assume everyone is a drug addict or something? And lying about there conditions to get some drugs, I don't know. I know a lot of people do this stuff but come on. It's disgusting, help healthy people who are good honest people who just need cured so we don't have to come back. By the way, I cured my stomach ulcer by drinking home made raw cabbage juice with a juicer machine, one whole cabbage of juice everyday for a month. Glory to God. read more

I visited the ER at Summit Pacific on April 10th. I've been treated fairly until that date. Dr. Joilo Barbosa was the attending physician. He came in and acted like I was imposing on his time. I tried answering some of his questions and he would interrupt me *LOUDLY* saying "NO" that's not right. Or he would finish answering my questions FOR me. I was not able to finish one sentence on my own! My daughter intervened and tried to ask a question... same thing... he would talk very loudly... and not once.. not one time did he even use his stethescope. His assumption was that he knew right away what was wrong and let me know in no uncertain terms that I knew nothing. I will think twice about about going there again... and Dr Barbosa will not ever ... EVER attend me again. read more

I would like to warn others, if you have any medical issues...DO NOT move to Gray's Harbor because the lack of health care is shocking! I was having issues with getting health care in Oregon, especially during the pandemic...but this area makes the doctors & hospitals in Oregon look top notch! I have a lot of health issues & I haven't even getting the health care that I need during the pandemic & Im immunosuppressed, so I've had to go there several times...the first time the nurse practitioner I saw stated "you moved to the poorest area of Washington, what do you expect?" I have had to go there twice in extreme pain & they wouldn't even let me lay down on a bed! When they do let you lay down in a bed there is only a curtain between you & the patient next to you so the other patient hears ALL of your medical information, which I believe is a violation of HIPAA laws. The wait to be seen is ridiculously long, even when there is only one other person in the hospital! The doctors at Summit Pacific Wellness center are very rushed & since they have a monopoly on health care in the area, they do the bare minimum & don't even listen to the patient. They believe their rude medical assistants over the patients...they wouldn't even listen to the proof I have in recorded calls! We bought a house in the area & we are on a fixed income...now we are forced to sell the house & because we don't have equity built up we will have to make payments...but there is NO DOUBT that I will die QUICKLY if I were to stay in this nightmare! read more
