The staff were all very friendly and it was a very smooth and quick check in process for the first time. They took us in right away, gave us a tour of the clinic, and brought us to the chair to do a cleaning. The dentist was very kind and helpful! I learned so much at this visit on how to properly brush my baby's teeth and also she took an extra step to ask about my baby's routine and what he eats to get a better idea and give recommendations. It was a quick appointment too as my little one wanted to start getting out of the chair lol but they got the job done and everything was great! I'm so happy to have this children's dentistry as my baby's dentist because they do a great job and I have no complaints at all. Thank you!

I've debated for several years whether to write this review because I wanted to make sure I was…read morereflecting on my experience objectively rather than emotionally. I had my two lower wisdom teeth removed here in December 2021. My experience involved two different dentists in the office. Dr. Chen performed my extraction, while my initial consultation and follow-up were with another dentist whose name I unfortunately don't remember. The reason I'm writing this review is because the communication throughout my care was disappointing. During my consultation, I was told I needed all four wisdom teeth removed. My X-rays were never reviewed with me, and I left believing I had four wisdom teeth. After contacting Medi-Cal myself, I learned that only my two lower wisdom teeth had been submitted for authorization. When I called the office for clarification, I felt like my questions were dismissed instead of answered. On the day of surgery, I brought the discrepancy up again and learned that I only had two wisdom teeth to begin with. Spending weeks preparing for four extractions, only to find out I didn't even have upper wisdom teeth, was frustrating and completely avoidable with better communication. While the extraction itself was relatively quick, my recovery on the left side was much longer than expected. It took close to three months before I could comfortably chew on that side of my mouth again. At my two-week follow-up, I tried explaining where I was having pain, but instead of focusing on my concern, the interaction centered on correcting how I pointed to the painful area. That moment stuck with me because I left feeling dismissed rather than listened to. Looking back, what stayed with me wasn't the extraction itself, it was how I felt as a patient. Since then, I've found a dentist who takes the time to explain X-rays, answer questions, and involve me in my care. That experience showed me how different dentistry can feel when communication and patient respect are priorities. I'm simply sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. My advice is to read the reviews carefully and decide whether this office is the right fit for you.

Real Experience vs./Internet Outrage I've been a patient…read morehere for over 2.5 years, coming in like clockwork every 6 weeks, and some of these recent negative reviews truly baffled me. I've never witnessed any rudeness from the front desk--ever. Quite the opposite, actually. The woman at the desk has always been polite, professional, and low-key. There's no "group of girls" up front like one review implied--just one adult woman doing her job calmly and efficiently. This is not an office where they sugar-coat things or fake-smile you into overspending. It's a quiet, no-frills, respectful environment. If you're expecting cheerleader-level enthusiasm or someone to fluff your ego while swiping your credit card, this might not be the place for you. But if you want honest care without theatrics, I'd recommend this office without hesitation. Not every medical setting needs to feel like a customer service theme park. Some people confuse "not being chatty" with "being rude." That hasn't been my experience here, and I'd hate to see a solid office get misrepresented because a few people didn't get the exact vibe they were hoping for!
