I moved up to Duluth MN and I had the BEST experience with Diane!!! It was one of the only places…read morethis was actually an able to rent in advance. It's so tough for us anxious girlies when a ton of places pop up for rent 2 weeks before you gotta be out of your place. I wanted to find a spot a month in advance because I cannot live with that anxiety of not knowing my next move. You have to put your 2 months notice in and then be stressed out for a while before signing another lease. She made the transition so easy and seamless. The unit is beautiful!!! Real hardwood floors, she made SURE it was spotless and actually takes care of the place and fixes thing in a timely manner. Super responsive and kind. She checks in and makes sure everything is good. She actually cares about you as a human if you're a genuine person. She wants you to take care of her place as if it's your own which is so fair and I wanted to follow her lease instructions because she was so great to me. Some landlords are jaded and rude but she takes in every new tenant without that bias and matches your energy. Got my FULL deposit back because I tried hard to clean and make it beautiful again. She painted before I moved in- something a lot of landlords do not do which sucks. But she wanted to make sure it was immaculate and I appreciate that because I love doing a good job too and take pride in my work ethic. I've heard that it's really hard to find a good spot in Duluth that is both clean and well maintained and with a good landlord. She is both 100%. Be real with her and she'll be real with you. She made the moving out process so easy- sent detailed directions not only on how to properly clean things but an itemized checklist of what to clean and the price is would be if you don't. Because that's the thing, if you don't clean it she will either do it herself or hire someone to do it for the next tenant. If I ever move back to Duluth then I will absolutely be renting with her again. She has multiple spaces for whatever you might need. I'd rather choose a good landlord over anything else and the location was perfect- 6 minutes from work close to everything. The lake, Chester, Enger Tower, Traverse trail. Felt so safe because or the location even though I was essentially downtown/central hillside. If you're looking for a spot to rent in Duluth I would absolutely recommend checking her spots out if you want a good experience and you can follow simple rules. She is a gem of a human and I'm so happy that I chose that spot with her. It was the first place I toured and I could tell she had great energy. Guard up at first of course because you gotta protect yourself but is a really sweet woman.

So helpful and caring of her tenants, and this made me feel comfortable in a new town. Treat her and her property with respect, and receive the same respect! Loved her and my experience with her, great!

When moving here we were so excited because everything looked updated and well-maintained but after…read moreliving here for months, this was the worst place we could have chose to live. I lived here for 10 months and would never recommend this place to anyone, if I was able to give zero stars I would. The amenities were okay but because of COVID-19 they were either closed or only semi-open and there was never a discount given out. It's pretty disappointing to pay $550 a month for a TINY house that has even smaller bedrooms that you can barely fit a queen bed in and then have no amenities. The tanning is supposed to be free and is advertised as included but at the end of the lease you have to pay for the tanning card which we were not told about. The outdoor fire pits never worked and the times we tried to use them, we could not get them to work and everyone that we asked said the same thing and management was no help. The property manager was also never there during the supposed "office hours" so if you needed something you had better luck driving to boulder ridge where they could potentially help you. Our dryer also broke not once but twice and would take forever to dry clothes. The microwave broke as well and they were "unable to fix it" so we had to go without a microwave for a week until they decided to get an entire new one. The heating in these houses are floorboard heaters and whenever the heat would kick on, there was a loud bang each time it turned on which you could hear all the way upstairs. The heat also never stayed at the correct temperature which was probably due to the fact that the windows here are AWFUL! Once it got cold out (which in Duluth it gets really cold very fast), we could feel cold air drafts through all of the windows and in three out of the five bedrooms and in the bathroom we had mold growing. We contacted management, maintenance, and even had upper-level management come and look at the mold. The excuse they gave us over and over is that they needed to replace the windows and were going to "try" to replace them the following summer. Instead of solving the mold problem in the bedrooms as well as the upstairs bathroom, they would scrape it off and continue to layer paint over the top. Two of us were sick throughout the entire year living here and I would not doubt that it had something to do with the mold. Living with mold in a tiny space is not only absolutely disgusting, but so unhealthy. Overall, this place is awful and I would never recommend these moldy, tiny houses to anyone. The singular good thing about this place was Nate the maintenance guy. He always was on our side and he tried really hard for them to fix the mold problem, but it was out of his control.

Lovely place to stay, nice apartments, great place to be with friends at! Although being such a…read morenice place the management really lacks communication with residents on policies, and the current management is very difficult to deal with, she makes living here feel like more of a hassle then it ever should be. She is very difficult to talk to and to communicate with, she is very disrespectful, and snotty towards myself and fellow residents. She also lacks the abilities to help residents navigate the community portal or lacks the knowledge to answer questions. Do not get me wrong campus park is a very nice place to stay at, the management just difficult.

Overall: The unit is perfect, however, everything else is questionable for the pricing and the name…read more"luxury" For the noise, I cannot speak for this since my unit was at the edge of building - but i do remember my roommate had issues with a person directly above her doing laundry at midnight. Ground: great. I think they are trying hard to update the look. Gym is always clean, although, they close pretty early everyday (~10-ish). Safety/neighborhood: not so great. I took shuttles to school, but the shuttles and DTA buses are only operating during school year, meaning no summer coverage. So basically, you have to walk ~15min to take buses during summer, if you don't have a car. Maintenance: they don't change bulbs for you (haha I never lived in a property that doesn't do that. So it was surprising to me) other than that, they usually respond w/in couple days Staff: NOT trained well enough to deal with issues and giving different "answers". My roommate was changed once and the process was such a pain. I had to talk to the manager and the one superior (don't know who that was) in order to get the right answer regarding moving out date/ deposit refund/ getting the new room painted and turned. At last, I had to write a written document and got them sign it before they change their mind again. Read the fine print on the lease before you sign; The POSSESSION date ends on 19th of the last month. That means you NEED to vacate by 19th and STILL need to pay for the full month. Nonsense. But no legal action can be done since it's written in the lease. Just not worth the money.

I rented this apartment because they were new, had a shuttle service to UMD and St. Scholastica,…read moreand in-unit washer and dryer. Only after I moved in did none of these "amenities" seem enough to compensate for the management's snotty attitude. The apartment is made with cheap material - cheap linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom, cheap carpet. I ended up never using the shuttle bus because it only comes once an hour and didn't run the first two weeks of class so I ended up having to buy a parking pass at school anyways. There is no garbage disposal in the sink. I have never been able to use the work out room because they don't open it until 8 am (already in class by then) and kick you out after 9 pm (don't come home until 10 pm most nights). Forget ever having friends over because the maintenance guy will make up claims that he is receiving noise complaints and then try to fine you $750! Don't rent here! Save your money and go somewhere where you are treated like an adult and get the respect you deserve.

I'll really give them a 4.5 Stars rating, nobody is perfect so 5 would be excessive. I lived here…read morebetween Aug. 2021-- Aug. 2025. A lot depends on the property manager. My first one, Nick J, was problematic, the first week I lived in the building he texted me accusing me of parking overnight in the back alley, that was false, my car was parked in the garage that came with our lease, a half block away near City Hall. Ethan W. succeeded him, was seen in the building far more often and generally fixed problems quickly. Additionally an honest and straightforward person. One of the best things he did for me, I'd taken a special offer to move in during Covid of a refund of my first month's rent when I moved out, and he put it in the 2nd year lease. (Nick had omitted to do so.) EastWest sold control of the building to another firm which wasn't so good. Luckily the Property Manager, Kim S. was outstanding, and when the office tried to stick me with improper fees she got them cleared up. (Since they were far away I had to mail the rent checks, then they'd claim a "late fee" which was never in MY lease, $6, then try to charge me further "interest" on this, basically a Ponzi scheme.) I was lucky that my Lease was still with EastWest my entire tenancy until move-out, so I never got sucked into these scams. Kim was on-site often and set up new amenities like free coffee in the (secure) mail-room on weekdays, board gaming nights in the Community Room, etc. Also Matt, the maintenance guy was very good when there was a problem. Lastly, there was a younger guy named Ben who did a lot of clean-up after hours and on weekends. When I was moving a couple of friends flaked on me for help, so I hired Ben and he was a Godsend. My last fear was getting back most of what was left of the $1,500 offer I took at the beginning. They did not charge me excessively for the minor painting needed when I moved out, in fact I got more back than expected. So thank you to Kim, Matt, and also to Ben. I hope Kim remains as the property manager, if not beware, 'coz the Management Company is known for excessive move-out charges.
