He will literally leave no stone unturned and you can expect him to spend hours checking every corner of the home. He didn't just point them out but also educated me on why it was a finding, how to monitor the finding, and also necessary repairs/replacements to request from the seller. After receiving my inspection reports (just a little over 24 hours after the physical inspection!) I was even more amazed by how thorough the report was. It just cataloged a long list of possible problems and said I should have each of them investigated by a qualified contractor. But of course hiring a qualified contractor to investigate each of the possible problems would have been completely impractical. The report seemed to be mostly an exercise in protecting themselves legally. For the customer it didn't do much good. Although the inspector invited me to call him afterward to discuss the report, which probably would have helped, he was never available. Also, their office was very difficult to deal with, providing conflicting information depending on whom I spoke with. Afterward the company asked me to complete a customer survey, where I described my complaints. The survey's automated response said "We want to make this right" or something to that effect, but instead the owner sent me a hostile email arguing that none of my complaints was legitimate. A very disappointing experience all in all.

I would suggest to either never have her call customers until her attitude is better and retrain her on simple answers to questions that MOST customers would have regarding home inspections in NJ or remove her from your business altogether. We went with Nicole because we loved how personalized she made the process, she really does make you feel like you are her only client. We had a group text going where she would send us the listings that actually fit what we were looking for and it allowed us to keep an open conversation with her about all the questions we had as first time home buyers. A surprise bonus was that Nicole actually flips homes in her spare time and is extremely knowledgeable at what is required to make certain updates in the home so she was able to provide rough cost estimates (on adding an extra bath, new flooring, etc) which proved to be tremendously helpful as we started looking at fixer uppers. During our walk-through just hours before closing we entered our soon-to-be home to find 70% of the seller's belongings were still there.
