Instead of receiving compassion and immediate protection, the student was met with skepticism and a dismissive attitude from administration. The steps are extremely deep, more so than most steps. I just couldn't get up on the step to sit in the bleachers. A very nice wrestling student from Etiwanda High School and my husband helped me up. Everyone was very nice there however, I heard other wrestling watchers complaining about the steps with no handrails and how deep the steps are.
