The staff is very helpful. I purchased a pair of Outspoken frames and literally receive complements on them everyday.

Terrible experience. Office was dirty, doctor Prestash was running behind and the costs were really expensive!

All of the stars for the team and service at LasikPlus in Milwaukee/Brookfield! From the initial…read moreconsult to the procedure and post-op visit; everyone I encountered was friendly, knowledgeable and provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I had looked into Lasik via a different provider a few years back but didn't move forward with their office because they lacked professionalism and didn't instill any confidence in such a delicate procedure. Fast forward several years, both my brother and sister had their Lasik done with Dr Allen, they spoke highly of the office and continue to be extremely happy with the results. I came in for a consult but the initial consult determined I wasn't a candidate at that time (as I had just had a baby), they recommend I wait a certain time frame and I did. I came back and again encountered nothing but positive bedside manner, a professional staff, a quick and painelsss procedure and so far (1 day post the procedure) incredible results. I'm glad I waited to find the right team to move forward with getting Lasik. I highly recommend this team, being able to wake up and see is priceless. My sincerest appreciation to Kate, Dr.Allen and the two girls who were in the room during the procedure who really went above and beyond to reassure me and took excellent care of me and my eyes. THANK YOU ALL

They are never on time, not even close. On the day of my appointment I waited over 2 hours. Also,…read morethey don't bother to tell you in advance that they are extremely behind schedule so you're stuck. It was an extremely impersonal experience. I don't even know what the doctor who did the procedure even looks like. You're truly just a number to them and considering that it's a procedure with your eyes I would've hoped to have had a better experience. Overall, it's a less than satisfactory establishment and if I were to have a redo I would've chosen another place to have LASIK.

My night vision is absolutely horrendous. If I don't sleep enough, it's extremely painful all day. My vision will get blurry if I touch my eyes. At my consultation, I brought my last 10 years worth of prescriptions and asked a number of questions. Dr Skolaski said that I was a "great candidate" for LASIK and made any complications sound minimal, temporary and unlikely. Less than 4 months after LASIK, my astigmatism was back to what it was before LASIK. Now a year after LASIK, my eyes are still always sore and strained and burning. My left eye feels like it has a pin in it. The whites of my eyes are so full of red lines that they look yellow. At my followup appointments, Skolaski's response to my concerns was telling me to stay hydrated. The doctors I am seeing now have said this is almost certainly permanent. TLC should have told me there was a chance of this so I could have made an informed decision. I spent thousands of dollars on this surgery and since then have spent hundreds trying to find relief for my eyes. This appears to be a common outcome based on reviews I am finding online now, along with TLC's disregard for people who have negative results. They have you sign a document acknowledging a number of possible risks, but they do not tell you about these risks at the consultation, how likely they are, what you are most at risk for, or how awful it will make your daily life. A medical professional should meet a certain standard instead of just trying to make a sale. Trusting TLC is the worst decision of my life. This is miserable.

I don't buy my contacts there because they're almost double the price of what I can buy them for at Costco. They will give you a printed prescription if you ask. My insurance now covers the $35 for the imaging of the back of my eye but even before it was covered it was well worth the $35 to not have half a day where I cannot see because I had my pupils dilated. I'm taking off a star because of a couple issues. I brought my glasses in to have the prescription read last year and it was never entered into my chart I was then told I would need to make an appointment to bring them in for a second time to have them read. It's really inconvenient to have to take off time from work for a mistake they made as they're not open on Saturdays. The second issue being that the eye doctor seemed really annoyed with me that I haven't gotten the new glasses she wants me to get. I have had the same glasses for about 10 years and don't feel I am having issues with seeing out of them--in fact I still wear them instead of my contacts if I am doing up close work like embroidery. When I asked if the new prescription was much different than the glasses I already have they were unable to tell me since they read and then didn't enter the prescription. They asked if I brought my glasses with me--why would I when I brought them last year? They also seemed annoyed that I am not wearing readers when I use the computer which I explained was because they give me a headache. I was told to use a lower power, which would only be available somewhere online, and should hold the lens up to light to see if they look distorted--hard to do when buying online. I decided not to explain that I had tried a couple different strengths and found they all gave me a headache. Just didn't sit super well with me to feel like I'm trying to explain I'm seeing well and I'm being told I just need to buy the new glasses and I have to wear readers. My parents had a similar feeling about their eye visits with the same eye doctor. I'll give them another shot but after that I'll ask to see someone else.

Left eye for reading has Stigatism and right eye for distant. My vision was blurred on computer and at night. This is my first time wearing contacts, so it was a challenge finding the right balance for my prescription. Dr. Sheikh did and excellent job tweaking and making adjustments to make that perfect balance. Highly recommend her especially if you are a new contact user. Go to a Specialist!! Do not waist your time going to a local optical and getting rushed to order contacts like I did. A specialist like Dr. Sheikh is going to make sure you walk out with a smile and is happy with your new contacts. YAY I can see without my glasses

If I was informed that a specialist fee was to be charged I would have went elsewhere!
