Dr. Stromberg is a new Doctor there who took over my file when my Doctor retired. Dr. Stromberg doesn't look at you during your appointment, like she can't be bothered. If you are there and need to show her why you came in, she tells you, "I don't need to see it" in a snarky matter. Then how can you help fix it if you don't know what it is? I have another family member that was transferred to her as well. She was called into the office for test results and Dr.Stromberg did not even know why she was there. Dr. Stromberg didn't bother to find the letter to see the results, just started making her own suggestions. When people have been going through years and years of treatment already, and the doctor cannot even be bothered to read anything to make NEW and APPROVED suggestions, it is a waste time. Dr. Stromberg could care less about her patients and this is coming from multiple ones. Never did get the test results.

While highly intuitive and observing, he won't jump to conclusions before he's gotten the necessary x-rays or MRIs to be absolutely sure. But his initial diagnosis has always been spot on. He's a friendly doc who, unlike many docs, isn't rushing in and out of rooms. He takes time to talk with you. He's older, so he went to med school about 40 years ago but keeps up on all the recent research. When you come into his office, he is usually at his desk doing some reading of the latest medical journals. It's probably why he has so many patients and can't accept new patients. Also if he knows you don't have a medical plan he's very generous with samples from pharmaceutical companies.

Calls frequently go unanswered, and voicemail messages are often not returned. This has been a consistent pattern over several years, resulting in limited ability to reliably contact the clinic regarding patient care concerns. On the occasions I have reached "Pat" (office assistant), I have been told she is busy. However, when I attend the clinic in person she has not appeared to be occupied with patient related tasks and has instead been conversing with staff or not engaged in work at the front desk. I have spoken to other patients that attend this clinic and they have the same complaints and find it highly annoying. This creates a barrier to accessing care and communicating with the office. Based on my experience, patients should be aware of communication challenges when dealing with this clinic.

I did spend about 25 minutes past my appointment time alone in the exam room, however the doctor came in apologizing profusely saying she had to spend a little extra time comforting her last patient, totally understandable. I've recently started seeing Dr. Mcevoy (spelling?) and she is absolutely wonderful. She's caring and listens and explains and thinks out loud as to what her thoughts are and courses of action - "hmm, we could try this, what are your thoughts?" and so on. She even sat there and googled images and explained about my neck issues and how muscles and discs lead to pain, pointing out where my issues were. The reception can be a little blunt at times and I was given the wrong date for my last appointment and missed it. Lesson learned, phone a couple days beforehand to make sure.
