After my fourth session, unfortunately I had to call it as a failed attempt. She completely ignored my requests and conditions that I had set out for the sessions. Title: She is the reason I am still standing…read more I have been seeing Erin Fischer for several months, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most dedicated and compassionate psychologists I have ever worked with. Erin is not the kind of therapist who simply goes through the motions. She is present, she listens, and she genuinely cares about her patients' well-being. She does not rush. She does not dismiss. She takes the time to understand the full picture--not just the surface-level symptoms, but the underlying trauma, the history, and the real-life impact of what happened. I was referred to Erin through an AI recommendation when I was in crisis. I did not know what to expect. But what I found was a professional who treats her patients with dignity, respect, and clinical integrity. She does not let outside pressures dictate her clinical judgment. She stands by her patients and advocates for what is clinically appropriate, even when it is not the easy path. Erin has been there for me from the beginning through months of ongoing treatment. She has helped me navigate not only my trauma but also the challenges of dealing with WCB and the legal system. She has consistently documented my condition accurately and has not allowed herself to be pressured into changing her clinical opinion to fit someone else's agenda. I have seen firsthand that she is focused on treatment and recovery, not on appeasing insurance companies or administrators. Her priority is her patients--and that is rare. If anyone has ever questioned her professionalism or dedication, I suggest they look at themselves. Because what she has done for me, and continues to do, goes beyond anything that can be captured in a five-star review. If I could give her more than five stars, I would.
