I went to my doctor and was immediately put on anti-depressants. Over the years I've been prescribed many different prescriptions, seen numerous counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists that I lost count and began to lose hope. All the counseling sessions were the same thing and none of them registered or helped me to deal with my issues. It wasn't until I met Joan at Inspired Wellness & Hypnotherapy that I began to feel like there might be some hope left for me! For the first time in my life I started to feel better. She taught me a new way of thinking that truly changed my life! The hypnotherapy sessions blew my mind and helped me in so many ways that it's hard to explain it all. All I can say is wonderful and great things about this super talented lady. Joan has truly inspired me and has shown me how to see the world and my life in a positive way. She was able to relate to so many of my past traumas and knew exactly how to guide me towards recovery. I'm so grateful she is a part of my healing journey and I will continue to see her and I think anyone seeking enlightenment should give her a call.

Seeing a psychologist is not cheap, but a few sessions with her was definitely worth it. I still draw upon things I learned from her and would recommend her highly to anyone seeking psychological help.

They're not sincere or caring but just doing the bare minimum so you come back and pay them. They're unorganized and late all the time and it seems like they're late because they rather be sitting in their office eating, on their phones, or talking with one another which for one, does not make me feel comfortable having them discuss my situations to each other or to the receptionist. They're just fake! I leave my sessions with more anxiety because I feel like they're in the backroom discussing how frustrating I am as a client or how my problems are insignificant. Don't go here unless you want yourself feeling worse.

I really felt that my usual doctor wasn't taking me seriously, and I really did NOT want to take all these weird medications with scary side effects. I chose Dr. Dacyshyn based on a combination of the services outlined on her website and a gut feeling :p I've seen her twice now, and she's really great! The first time was an hour-long consultation where I just got to say everything that was bothering me. I really felt like she listened, and she understood my problems really well. She knew I didn't have much money, and was very accommodating for that, keeping her prescriptions to a minimum and letting me know what was essential vs. just good to have. The things she prescribed me work like a charm- I stopped getting sick, have a lot more energy, my depression and anxiety have improved dramatically, and no side effects! Also, herself and the other people I've spoken with in her office are very helpful and friendly just in general. I would recommend Dr. Dacyshyn to anyone wanting to try naturopathic medicine :)
