The studio has the sense of community I was looking for when I moved and has truly become my happy place I have taken classes by Heather, Bethany, Charlene, Gabby, Brenna, and Margaux and they have all been wonderful in their own ways! Each class is meditative yet allows you to challenge yourself if that's what you're looking for. Over these last few months BBY has allowed me to strengthen my body, soul, and mind in a way I didn't think was possible honestly!! If you're not sure if yoga is for you, BBY offers a wonderful $30 for 30 days deal that can really help you to explore the various classes and see which class is a good fit for you! I genuinely recommend BBY for anyone who is new to the area or just looking for a way to take some time out for yourself!

I have been so intimidated for years and Haylie just took that all away and make yoga so relaxing and fun at the same time. She took her time explaining and showing each element to make everyone comfortable. My friends and I wanted something different for a bachelorette party, we wanted something that all the women would enjoy and different from our other activities. We were blown away when we hired hd fitness. From Boston to New Hampshire they will travel to you. She came and set up trapeze and three different stations. There was something for everybody. I tried everything for the first time and I felt so free and calm while doing a work out. It's something everyone needs to experience and try something new ‍!!! I can't wait to do classes in studio!I will go in studio as they have a covid policy and they are doing everything safely!! Thank you for making our weekend so special and fun!

Melissa is a GODSEND!! I've never had a physical therapist with such a keen sense of how to help…read moretheir patient recover. I guess I'm a bit of klutz. But my shoulder injury was 10 years in the making. When we are given guidance to relax those shoulders down and away from our ears AND WE DON'T LISTEN, then you stand where I am now. Nine months out and still with pain and impingement. But thanks to Melissa's encouragement, patience, and strategies of hope, I'm slowly building strength, teaching my body how to relax. Dry needling is a wonderful path to relieving tension, and added bonus, reducing facial puffiness. When we don't listen to our bodies, they will force us to listen, especially if we are on a journey toward healing and trying to listen to what our bodies need. I'm so glad I followed my gut and signed up for sessions with Melissa and I'm so glad she is trained in the Mackenzie style of Physical Therapy. It should be required training for all physical therapists. Learning exercises I had been doing were actually causes my shoulder to come out of alignment, when that was my problem, was a hug eye opener. And adding Pilates exercises to grow foundational strength and learn patience through purposeful movement is essential for chronic muscle tension and as an effect, poor joint mobility and strength. I love your office space. Perfect model! Thank you for your energy and your passion. Best to you in your practice forever and always. Kora

Best place for yoga. Great, dedicated teachers. Easy to learn the moves and endless opportunity…read moreto learn more. Second only to my favorite yoga instruction in San Francisco. Yoga East brings excellent workshops, yoga celebs and programs to Portsmouth. And it's not about ego. Seems perfectly genuine, like Yoga East simply wants to build a dynamic yoga community and practice, practice, practice. Only trouble is finding the studio entrance... it's very - er - subtle. "Go past a pile of rocks on the banister of the exterior stairs," one patron advised, "behind the bank building on Deer Street just before the curve... " What? Finding the entrance is a journey with mystery. Fitting, isn't it.
