The employees are nice and helpful. If they don't have something you are looking for, they will order it and have there by the following Friday. For a small shop, they have a decent selection. I'm more into beer than liquor and wine, so I honestly can't speak for that selection. I've ordered several kegs from here and they've always made me happy. Good Times is the best Liquor store in Fairview. I do wish they had a bigger high gravity section. I know they will order me anything, but I'd much rather them have it in stock, then me having to ask for it. I'd give them more stars if they carried more beer. More beer = more stars.

If you were to try everything on the label, you would spend $60 because you pay five dollars per half ounce. Tasting would cost you more than it would be costing you to get a bottle. At best in my opinion and experience, it was maybe a $10 tasting not $20 for 4 tasting of a 1/2 ounce. With that being said I did buy a bottle of bourbon because it was very good, but I was really disappointed with the cost. It seemed to be a little high compared to other distilleries. The bartender was prompt in his service, but he did not explain the nuances and how they make their product like other distilleries too. Whether he didn't know or just didn't want to I don't know.

I stopped in before a show at the Franklin Theatre across the street (pro tip: if you're headed that way, this is the perfect spot to kick off your night!). I had no clue what to order, so I asked our server for help. She immediately recommended their famous espresso martini. I hesitated because I'm not a fan of olive martinis, but she promised this was completely different and handed me the flavor menu. I went with the Lamplight, caramel option--and BAM! Honestly, it might be the best drink I've ever had. New favorite, locked in! I'll definitely be ordering espresso martinis wherever I see them on the menu now, but if I want a guaranteed winner every time, I know exactly where I'm coming back to. Highly recommend!

Anyway.. I walked in Saturday afternoon (6/10/23) and was immediately greeted by the gentleman running the joint, Rusty, and another employee named Jack. I was hoping that being closer to Kentucky would allow me to find Blanton's at a cheaper price in greater quantity. Rusty took to time to explain how Blanton's and most liquor stores operate with one another and the reason for its scarcity even in TN. Then Rusty took me on a tour of different bourbons he recommended: this tour included several tastings, history and facts regarding each whiskey I sampled. I ended up choosing to purchase a bottle of Rattle & Snap 8 Year for an extremely fair price of $100. Rusty further detailed his "membership list". It's just a spreadsheet of his customers and how much they spend (I believe monthly) and at the end of the month, the top few get to select some of the highly-sought-after bottles Rusty has on the top shelf to include bourbons like Blantons and Willetts.. at RETAIL, people. Rusty and Jack provided excellent service, have a great business running, with a wide selection of liquor and massive expertise regarding the selection within. If you're in the Franklin area and are looking for a bottle or two, I must recommend Bakehouse Wine and Spirits. Cheers!
