The service was excellent! There were very few diners at 7:30pm on a Friday night during the high tourist season of Feb, so we had our waitera full attention. He moved a table onto the patio for our family of 4 so we could be a bit distanced from the live music performance which was too loud for dining, but would have been about right for a lively bar scene. (Which it was not) The food was the most average we had all week in Bucerias. Salsas needed more seasoning. Same with the meat and fish. Beyond the flavor, the prices were unreasonablly high for the quality of the food.we received. It's located way out north. I'd recommend not making a trip to dine here, but if you are staying next door, it could be a fun spot to grab a drink. read more

Food was overall very fantastic, as well as the service. Highly recommend the blue fin ceviche, it is spicy as they include peppers, but flavors are fantastic, especially with the sesame oil! The fish tacos were inconsistently seasoned, some very salty and some very under seasoned. Otherwise, highly recommend this location for fantastic food. Not a tourist trap at all. read more

I just left Sukha......probably the worst food I've ever eaten in Mexico. The food had a ton of salt. What are they trying to cover??? The tuna tartar wasn't fresh and was mixed with probably a half cup of soy sauce. It was brown if that tells you anything. Then we had the fajitas. The beef...same drill loaded tons of salt. This was our first time at this restaurant. Nice ambiance, right on the water. The servers were attentive. We had Cadillac Margaritas, the lobster fajitas and a Cesar Salad. It was our anniversary; they surprised us with a delicious chocolate cake along with Kailua and cream drinks. We will definitely go again next year. read more

Excellent service and on the beach. Drinks were good and they have several 2 for 1 specials that run all day long. Beach tables and the inside table are all very nice and the sunset view is amazing. I had the mix molcajetes for $305 and it was really good and unique dish that I have never had or seen anywhere else. We stumbled upon this place on this quiet beach & asked for a table. They were full but took a table from inside & put it on the beach for us. We had a great sunset dinner under the stars with waves crashing in. The seafood was tasty & fresh. We had a wonderful time. read more

What a nice place. A little hard to find, with the entrance on the street and the restaurant on the beach. The wait staff was amazing. Quite personable all the while "Johnnie on the spot" with everything and anything we needed. The quality of the food was well above the average for the area, and the prices were well below what one would expect. Milan was our waiter, and the guy responsible for finding us on the street and inviting us in. He is to be commended, and now comes highly recommended. read more

Worth the drive from PV over to Bucerias just to visit Sukha Beach House. Ramundo was a great host, made sure everything was attended to. Even the margaritas are one of a kind. Molcajetes is fantastic. The most tender beef, onions, pineapple, cactus and barracha sauce. We added lobster tacos and almost had to roll us out to the taxi. Highly recommend Sukha Beach House. We discovered a few months ago and had to bring our friends back with us. We will be back many times. read more

We dined here Sunday night as a lot of restaurants were closed. The view and beach sand dining was nice, but I was disappointed in the food. The crab chili rellano was ok but the tuna tacos were terrible. Deep fried tuna stuffed into a flower taco shell was tasteless. I am so glad we found this gem not far from our AirB&B and I am returning again before we leave - the service was great and the food was also great! Actually both were excellent, really. We arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and were able to order all our food and the bar stayed open! Wonderful view of sunset over Punta de Mita. Our table was on the beach so we enjoyed our meals with our toes in the sand. Curiously each of our group of 4 ordered camarones - beautiful presentations, ample portions, and everyone raved about his or her dish. The service was excellent and the pace relaxed. Upon learning of my birthday the staff brought black Russians, chocolate cake and ice cream - at no charge. Made our night! We'll probably return later this week. The price was right. read more

Scenery A++++ sitting at a table with your feet in the sand watching the sunset was amazing!! But the food was meh. I had the shrimp fajitas and some were burnt on the bottom along with the veggies. Due to them being over cooked they were very dry. Our friends had the prime rib tacos they said they were good. My husband had the fish tacos 3 ways. he ate two of them the other was not that good. Bottom line..Go here for some gauc and salsa, get some drinks and watch the sunset. I would say to go ahead and pass on the entrees. read more

Relatively great food. The view is amazing. Parking is tough but we just walk to this restaurant since it's so close to the house. The service is a little slow, even by the standards expected in Mexico. It did get a little breezy at night when I was there in March but by April it was perfect. read more

This place is amazing! We tried it out and ended up having our wedding rehearsal dinner there. The staff was ridiculously accommodating. Very open & airy; great views of beach, water, mountains and sunset. Drinks are great and always 2 for 1. Some of the best food we've ever had in Bucerias. My fav is the ahi tuna salad, but the ceviche wig olives and the queso were also wonderful. We had 15 people and not one person could say a bad thing. Everyone loved the food & ambiance. This place had quite a bit of potential but ultimately fell flat. We went here based on our concierge's recommendation as the best place she's ever eaten Red Snapper and she's been to Cabo, Cancun, Loreto, etc. Our party was 8 people, 5 adults and 3 kids. Positives: The space is beautiful and has a great view of Banderas Bay. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price of the food and drinks were reasonable. Negatives: We were one of the only tables there and it took a VERY long time to get our food. We've been vacationing in Mexico for 12 years and things are usually slow because they want you to enjoy yourself (e.g. they won't bring you your bill until you ask for it). But this was ridiculous. No one wants to wait forever for their food, especially with three kids. When my husband's whole red snapper came out, it was burnt on one side and completely dry and over cooked on the inside. My dad's tuna filet was nice sized but the spinach and rice it came with were hardly more than garnish. He had to nibble off the kids' plates to fill his belly. He commented that the kids chicken nuggets were mostly bread and hardly any chicken. Not a deal breaker though because we're certainly not going out to eat to find the best kids' food. I think everyone else mostly enjoyed their food but it was really hard to say whether it was because they were so hungry or not. Considering we went because the concierge raved about the snapper and that was the worst prepared meal of the night, I'm not sure what to think of the concierge's recommendations going forward. read more
