It is nice for the drivers! Prices to get in for regular racing is $10, $20 to race. Special days are $15 entrance fee. Not bad for an entire evening or afternoon of racing fun. People bring their kids, pets, spouses, and dates to the races. It is nice to see all the people enjoying the race fuel smells. There is food available as well. I have not tried the food, this year, but in years past the food has been good.Not cheap, but not too expensive either. Get there early or little later to avoid lines getting in the gate, although I don't think the line died down at all opening day. I was one that wasted time getting out there, and waited in the line. There are two lines once you get close enough to the gate. For payment, have it ready when you pull up, exact cash gets you in and on your way the quickest, credit card takes a little longer (only one reader for the 2 lines), and they do accept checks. I will never know how quick or slow that process takes, since I don't write checks! The line no matter how you decide to pay moves quick and parking is plenty. My daughter has raced there and liked it. Her first time racing, the people were nice and helpful. The racer were also encouraging and offered tips. If you feel the need for speed, do it at a track not the street! This is a great place to race against your own time or race against others. As a spectator I like to see all types and all kinds of racing!

This was our second time at the Gathering of Nations, and it was much better organized two years…read moreago. The performances were absolutely stunning, the dancers and energy were mesmerizing and truly unforgettable. Unfortunately, everything else was a mess. We waited three hours at will call for wristbands, only to have the coliseum hit capacity. They clearly oversold tickets, and we missed the Grand Opening and night show. Food lines were also 2-3 hours long with not enough vendors. It was so frustrating that we didn't even return the next day. It's sad this was called "The Last Dance." The performances deserved far better organization.

The event itself was one of many. There was so much going on sound you, on top of great food & tribal dancing everywhere. It was truly a moving experience. My favorite part was all of the great people we met that I'll cherish forever. The vendors were funny & friendly, their performers as well, & the people were amazing. Everyone was so nice it warmed your heart.

It was December and the track was on break. However, a very kind lady named Adriana responded the same day. She was very kind and welcoming. She let me know when they would be starting back up and how to get involved. I was very intimidated as I don't know anything about BMX. She was so kind and welcoming. I am so thankful. We showed up on the first day of gate practice and Adriana set us up with a free day pass. She then directed us towards where we could get loaner gear. We were loaned a bike, helmet, and jersey for our 6-year-old daughter. She rode the course at least 10 times and got a bit of a feel for the gate process. She loved it. We went again today for her first race. Multiple people were so kind to my daughter who is very clearly a novice and Adriana helped us on how to understand the Moto sheets and such. We look forward to the season progressing and Novice training starting. I will highly recommend Duke City to anyone. Can't wait to see what the season brings.

Every activity on this place is really poorly run and takes forever. A few of the attendants mean…read morewell but others are slow and they don't have any control on how the activities and rides are designed. The equipment isn't enough for the amount of people waiting to try them. The company has focused more on arcade games than anything else. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you like waiting 30-45 minutes to jump 2-5 minutes on a trampoline or do a water car ride or whatever other poorly managed activity.
