I decided to leave this review, NOT to comment on the technical skills of stylist Sherri Lyn, but, to address a significant concern regarding her professional conduct within the local industry.
A growing number of stylists are observing Sherri Lyn habitually posting negative and undermining comments on the social media posts of other stylists in Connecticut. This behavior is manipulative and fundamentally unprofessional. In an ever-changing, and image-focused industry such as ours, supporting others is not merely a simple courtesy--it is a standard practice of professional integrity and community building. Sherri Lyn's actions show complete disregard for the foundational practice of mutual respect during professional interactions.
This pattern of public undermining raises serious questions about the Sherri Lyn's character and her adherence to professional ethical standards. While I cannot speak to the quality of her direct client services, a stylist who demonstrates a willingness to deliberately disparage the work of her peers for apparent self-advancement reveals a profound lack of maturity and judgment.
This documented behavior suggests a willingness to engage in bullying tactics to the detriment of others, which is a significant liability to both her own reputation and the overall image of our industry. Potential clients should consider whether a stylist who purposefully seeks to tear down others is someone they can truly trust to act in their best interests. read more
