I picked the most convenient day for me and proceeded to book massage, facial, manicure and pedicure in that order. I did understand that the massage was going to be a special booking as it was usually her day off but it was arranged for to come in special for me which I greatly appreciated. When I arrived I found out the facial was booked before the massage which was not what was originally scheduled so thing had to be rearranged so the facial could be done after the massage! That really is the proper order! Unfortunately the ManiPedi had to go first! Not perfect, but no big deal. This just postponed things for an hour, once again, no big deal. To my surprise the Manicure was for one hour and so was the Pedicure! Really! I have been doing them for more years than I would like to admit and both can be done well in an hour. Neither one does not require that long to get a basic treatment. Nails were fine but in my opinion was drawn out. Mind you, once again, nothing special was done. I didn't even have nail polish to remove. The pedicure was equally a drawn out process. Everywhere I have previously gone have worked on my callous and scrubbed My heel with a pumice pad. Not here. My nails were fine but attention to detail, not so much. I paid a higher price than I usually do because I wanted a fuller spa day. Now on to the better part of my experience. The massage was delightful. The stretching and massaging my tired body was relaxing, an hour goes way too quickly. The kinks were straightened out! The facial was equally wonderful. I felt my skin was handled properly and I finished with a glowing and smiling face. In my opinion, Allure is perfect for massages and facials but manicures and pedicures not so much. I'm so glad I listened to the reviews because Kiki was absolutely phenomenal! Not only is Kiki's personality infectious, she balances this out with her attention to detail and her true love for her profession. Kiki made me feel very much at ease and comfortable and we talked to each other like we knew each for a long time. Because Kiki made me feel so at ease, my appointment with her went by so quickly but she also ensured that I was hairless before I left her table in the allotted time. My very first waxing experience was so traumatic, I had to research other places on Yelp because in my that experience, I had booked a particular person based on the reviews, and I found out at the end of my session that I got someone else because that person did not introduce herself in the beginning. I also opted for a full bikini wax session, and that lady pressured me to get more hair off more than I had planned for. Green Wave was A MUCH BETTER VIBE!! I was immediately greeted by staff the moment I walked in, and a minute later, my wax technician greeted me and introduced herself as Mariana with a friendly smile. I already started to feel at ease. She gave me an obstetric wipe to use before we got started, which puts me more at ease seeing how careful and meticulous their processes are. I can't say that waxing down there is painless because it's still hurt, but it didn't hurt as bad as my first experience -- I opted for the deep bikini ($35) and she cleaned up very well! She even offered to trim the rest of my hairs. Mariana was very patient with me, even asked if I wanted more hair removed and I did not feel pressured at all! Even after each pull, she applied pressure to dull the pain, and put powder and at the end used a cooling spray. Some of these techniques I noticed were never done in the first place I went to, which was just all pull and pull with no mercy. Thank you Green Wave for a much better experience and although it's a bit of a drive for me, much more worth it! I'd come again!

The studio was so clean, every client gets their own waxing pot - so it feels personal and the wax is fresh, which is soooo important! The wax was sooo gentle and didn't hurt at all, I couldn't believe that I barely felt it! This wax is amazing for everyone, but especially beginners who have never gotten waxed. (Zero pain!) Also, they gave me an ice pack after to close the pores - this was just such a nice little add on that makes a difference.
