My technician Nahelee** was knowledgeable about her task. She made me feel comfortable during all stages of my sugaring experience especially considering it was my first time. read more

I have the monthly membership which I highly recommend if you come at least once a month. The spray tan artists at this location are much more talented than the Upper West Side location so I started coming to this location even though it's further away. read more

I originally booked a Brazilian but changed my mind in the room cause the pain was too much. They still charged full Brazilian price for removing a extra few strays on top of the regular teaspoon and my specific person was not friendly and seemed irritated when I had a question. We have literally 15 minutes together for the whole appointment and I felt as though I was asking too much when I asked to remove a few strays. She stopped, looked to the side with an irritated face waiting for me to finish my question. Also the actual result was not smooth, left a bunch of extra strays and overall not happy with the product whatsoever. Waste of money + pain. Also felt like front desk didn't give a shit when I said it was only ok. She goes "that's amazing." Clearly didn't listen. This was all at 945am. I'd understand if it'd be a long day and people are tired, but this was an hour or so after they opened. read more

Today was my first time getting sugaring. Given the intimate nature of the procedure, I want to say, it was a very professional. I will come back, and I will recommend to my friends. The lady who did the sugaring was named Destiny, and I will request her in the future. read more

All of the staff is great here! Today I had Janine and she was amazing! Would recommend

Such a fabulous team over at S & B at the UES location. Easy access to the Q train, & a short distance to Central Park, too. I stopped by for a spray tan as I had a photo shoot lined up with STRONG Fitness Magazine two days later. The girls helped with deciding that level 2 would be the best choice to stick with . I ran the '97, '99 and '03 NYC Marathons, and though now my training is mostly 2-3 days a week of weights with 5 days a week of cardio conditioning (walking, eliptical or rowing), the "polishing touches" of a spray tan are greatly appreciated and needed at a photo shoot at my age of 55+. I recommend Sugared & Bronzed for any special occasion, whether it's an anniversary, wedding or special date. You'll love your results:-). The quality and color is fabulous and the ladies are very professional. read more

Absolutely best team. Always satisfied with my tan. Highly recommend as a local living up here. :)

First time at a S&B location and it did not disappoint. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great results. Highly recommend for both waxing & spray tan read more

New-ish to waxing and had a great experience here. The staff were friendly and were careful to leave my skin feeling good. The space is clean and cute. read more

Clean, professional and very nice staff. It seems like everyone was satisfied with their experience when leaving this place including me but my only complaint was my tan was definitely not even. It is natural looking, doesn't smell and is not sticky but one arm is lighter than the other as well as my legs and all in different areas. I'm not sure I will try it again. I am updating this review after being contacted by the business manager who offered to refund my money etc. that means a lot to me and I appreciate that. I would definitely recommend this place just for that kind of customer service and would like to return and give it another shot. That was so nice of them. Thank you. read more

Just got a beautiful spray tan. I find it to be the most natural. The staff is always pleasant and they do a nice job. My tan is even and natural. The place is always so clean and they have nice booths for tanning with space to change. I also love that it lasts almost 10 days! read more

I've tried multiple sugaring places in NYC and Sugared + Bronzed is by far the best. The studio is always so clean, and everytime my sugarer is attentive and friendly. They offer a membership rate which is also the best deal I've found for sugaring services in NYC. Highly recommend stopping by Sugared + Bronzed if you're looking for a clean, professional, sugaring service in the city! read more

Great first bikini wax experience for my daughter! Quick and patient with a smile! We will be back many more times

Amazing service, clean and beautiful location, pretty natural appearing tan! No time for summer sun, look no further than S+B! An outstanding experience for my first spray tan with them. I will definitely refer them to others read more

After a not so great experience my previous visit, I was a bit apprehensive on returning. I love this location because it's so convenient to get to from the Bronx, and everyone is extremely pleasant. This time, I was sugared by a sugarista who was helping out the upper east side location. Corrine was amazing! She was quick and so gentle. It was easily the most pain free experience I've had in a while. I may have to visit the BK location just to get sugared by her again. read more

I love Sugared + Bronzed! I have been trying to find a new spray tan spot after my last one closed and this is my absolute favorite. Everyone at Sugared + Bronzed goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The tans always come out perfect and it's my go-to before a wedding, event or vacation. Will definitely be going back! read more

I love this place. I don't go anywhere else for my waxing now. The sugaristas are very knowledgeable and I don't have any complaints about how kind and understanding they are! lol read more

Alex did a fantastic job! I've been wanting to get a spray tan for the longest time and I decided my wedding was the best occasion to test it out. Alex made me feel very comfortable and was great going over the process. I got Elixir 3 and will definitely be returning. read more

Seneca was so sweet and very attentive! Love this location - always in and out in a flash. Even when it's been a while the sugaristas always take special care of me and my sensitive skin. read more

Got a Brazilian today and it was not the best experience. The sugarist got sugar stuck and kept tugging at the same place making it ver hurtful and raw, and was going over areas repeatedly with hard sugar with so much pressure that was so painful. When she was finished I was left with a lot of hair at the bottom and was told my skin was too Moist. I then asked her if she can please remove some more and to also tweeze. You can tell you didn't want to do it was in a rush and was hurting me. Being that she did the service despite my experience I still wanted to tip, at the register I was basically forced to tip a certain amount without warning or an option. Last time I checked the customer decides how much tip is given based off the experience and so forth. Not coming here again, I was left with hair and raw, rushed out, then had the Audacity to force a tip read more

Have been coming to sugared and bronzed regularly for a little over two years now , and have to say this is one of my favorite locations. All the staff here are consistent and are very accommodating and will take the time to explain things to you if needed . Highly recommend sugaring over waxing as it's less painful and last longer . The pricing is pretty decent and they offer monthly subscriptions at a cheaper rate - which I highly recommend since the credit rolls over . read more

Great experience. It is alwasy quick and efficient and I feel like I went on a nice vacation and got a glowy tan that looks so natural. It also is not sticky and does not smell at all. BEST experience and they are soo so so professional as well. I have been many many times! read more

I had a great service at sugared and bronzed in Murray hill! Everyone was very helpful and professional

Gosh it feels good to be tan. Loved Sugared + Bronze. They do just the right amount so it doesn't look fake. Well done!

I recommend this salon to everyone! Sugaring is so much less painless than waxing and the experience and vibes of this salon are impeccable. I've been coming here for years and am excited on their expansion. I'm looking forward to trying a spray tan & have also heard great things! read more

It was a pleasant experience. Place was clean and no wait time. Sugaring specialist was very welcoming and friendly and she was quick as well. The whole process took around 20-30 mins. Bonus - if you are first time customer you will get next one free. They also offer monthly membership of $49 that can be used once a month and if you skip the month for any reason amount will be added to your next month. However, if you would like to have sugaring two times in a month then you will need to pay regular price of $59 for the second sugaring in a month. I've tried so many different places for sugaring and I definitely recommend them. So far they are the best in NYC. And also if you are considering sugaring over the waxing, go for it! Your skin will be much smoother and hair regrows a lot slower compared to waxing. Where waxing is very painful and leaves you with skin irritation. read more

Writing this review because I didn't realize how painful my experience was until I went somewhere else for a Brazilian. When I got it done at sugared and bronzed a few months ago it was my first time ever getting waxed and I thought the excruciating pain was just how it was but I'm now realizing that is the furthest thing from the truth. I don't know if my tech was just inexperienced, but I wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy. They apply the sugar in the opposite direction of the growth and the application alone had me quietly tearing up. The tech didn't count down or tell me to breath out as she ripped the sugar off my skin. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but this was excruciating on another level. Was so nervous to get it done again but after going somewhere else I now know this is not normal at all. read more

I've had a lot of spray tans in my life but this one lasts the longest and it's the most natural looking! I love that they airbrush you so there's no missing spots from posing in front of a machine either! HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

I've never done a wax before, and I came in today super nervous to do a Brazilian and my underarms. I have a VERY low pain threshold and I'm a pretty anxious person. The woman who did both my sugaring was named Ty, and she could not have been more amazing, patient & understanding. She made me laugh the entire time and made me so comfortable! Best experience ever for a first time sugaring! I already made my next appointment. Thanks Ty! read more
