What we got were terribly printed images slapped on top of the cupcakes with a little ring of frosting (see pictures). At no point in our conversation were we told they'd print random pictures, in fact we found some 2D cupcake examples online when we were talking and the woman behind the counter pointed at several of them and said she could do those types of designs, which were all in icing, not printed on edible paper / fondant. I would have saved the money on the custom cupcakes and just got their regular ones, which would have looked WAY better than these more expensive "custom" ones.
