This spot is a little hidden away in an office building on an upper floor. But, when you walk in, it's pink and inviting. The place was very clean and well-maintained. I showed up without an appointment, but they were more than happy to accommodate me. Hannah sugared my upper lip and threaded my eyebrows. She was quick and efficient. Would go again and definitely recommend this place. I've been getting waxes for 13 years, so I know what makes a wax a good wax. The place is very clean, they take Apple Pay, and a deposit is required when you book fyi. Hannah was my waxer, and she was such a sweetheart. Consent was very important for her and before she moved me or did anything she asked if I was ok with it, and checked in on me throughout the process. She even waxed different parts at different times to give certain areas a "break" so it wouldn't be painful. We made small talk here and there but it wasn't forced which I appreciate. Hannah tweezed extra hairs afterwards. The owner does threading and I'd like to try her next since I prefer threading over tweezing. In terms of the results, the hair grew back very fine which is why I love sugaring. Overall the process took almost two hours, longer than regular wax but to be fair I was getting a lot done. I've been getting my brows threaded for years, and this place is the best I've tried. I was visiting NYC from DC, and I found this place from a Google search. I walked in with no appointment, and the staff graciously squeezed me in. The location is decorated very well and it's well lit and clean. My brows look amazing, and I got many compliments on them while I was visiting. My threader even offered me a bottle of water.
