Good fresh tacos. Their elote is also reallly good. I suggest adding hot cheetos. Parking is mid and restaurant is a bit small which I like because that means Ill never get over stimulated. Service is great. Will be back

Decided to try this quaint, cute establishment. Friendly worker. Orders some tacos and I was not a big fan. My daughter ordered her food and she wasn't a fan as well. The drinks were ok. The chips and salsa came with a smattering of a few chips and several small containers of different salsa. For the price I felt it way overpriced. Left wishing I had gone elsewhere. Not satisfied at all. I was really hoping for a different outcome.

Carne Asada burrito

We have been back a few times. Still feeling the same way about the food. Haven't seen any fruit agua frescas lately--hopefully soon since it is Spring. Mangonadas have improved to include size, fruit chunks, and tamarindo sticks. The churros are good. The Tres Leches Cake always seems to be out of stock so haven't been able to try it. Guy that works there always seems to be working hard and is nice.

Had the breakfast burrito with chicken, it was amazing. Service was really good. Woman who took our order was very friendly and polite. The restaurant is very cool. Decorated with so much detail and games on the table which we played while waiting for the food. Not much wait but either way, the wait is worth it. Amazing place 10/10 would definitely try again. Oh and the HOT sauce is actually HOT.

Loved the mangonada, and the mole chicken tacos were great. Nice spot with an smallish but interesting menu.

Amazing food in a small chill restaurant. Highly recommend trying the shrimp! They pay attention to the smallest details when preparing each plate and the staff are very friendly.

Great tacos and enchiladas. Loved the breakfast burrito. Very clean restaurant. Service was outstanding. Good food in Lakewood.

Loaded Carne Asada Fries

For the loaded fries were 18$ witch almost seemed really steep till they came out and boy they were packed and more than enough for two, fries where nice and moist and the meat was tender and juicy. The interior of the restaurant was small and quaint but really inviting and overall chill. The portions are well worth the prices and Abraham (the gentleman at the register) was super professional and inviting, man was super out there and chill. Definitely coming back!

The food here is absolutely amazing, my girlfriend and I went here for lunch and we had a wonderful time! I definitely recommend coming here, the staff is so nice and the food has so much flavor and is extremely fresh. The ambience is extraordinary!!

3 taco plate: bland pollo, carne asada & Al pastor tacos with yummy rice and salty AF refried beans.

As a taco lover I was excited to try their tacos, but I wasn't very impressed. I got a variety in a combo with rice, beans and horchata. I had one steak taco with mole, a chicken taco and an Al Pastor (pork with pineapple) and compared to other places, these were all pretty bland. The best of the three was the Al Pastor in my opinion. The pineapple helped give it a nice flavor. I usually love beans when I eat Mexican food too but sadly their beans are outrageously salty ... I don't normally enjoy the rice from mexican restaurants but surprisingly, their rice was the best part of the meal for me and had the most flavor !! Horchata wasn't the best but it was decent. I really wanted the cucumber agua Fresca but they were out. I'm not sure if I would get food here again... it wasn't terrible but it also wasn't great. If I do return at some point though I'd definitely skip the beans and try something different from the tacos.

The shrimp tacos are the best, or our favorite at least. If you've never, then recommend trying it out. Or trying it again!

Back with a review update yearrrsss later and happy to report a five star upgrade! We'e been back…read morequite a few times but our most recent visit was with a larger group and we had an awesome time. First off, service here is always great. Bartenders are always nice and food always comes quick. We started off by sitting in one of the larger booths and kicked our visit off with some drinks and an app. They have a great local selection of beers and tasty sounding cocktails. I tried a sip of my friend's spicy marg and it was TRULY spicy but it was absolutely delicious. For our app we tried the Corn Queso and it was super good! Definitely recommend. My husband and I split a couple of entrees to try something new as we always get the same stuff. This time we got the Holy Burrito with steak, and the Monster S'Mash Burger. The Holy Burrito is MASSSIVE. Easily able to share this and only this between 2 people. Stuffed with all the same usual goodness of a burrito, but topped with a luscious chorizo gravy, pico de gallo, and guac. Absolutely superb, can't recommend enough. The burger was also good but I wouldn't quite call it a smash. The fries are super crispy and yummy! After we wrapped up eating we went into the other half of the building where they have pinball machines, a pool table, and a photo booth. It's a fun spot to vibe and wrap up with another drink. If you haven't been to this Tacoma icon yet, you're seriously missing out.

I think I can speak for my group, that they really enjoyed their food and drinks too! The ambiance is moody and gothic, don't let the name fool you. The bartender and waitress were very friendly, and while ordering at the bar was way, the central area did get pretty crowded later in the night. After reading other reviews, I see I missed out on the photobooth :(. Oh wells, I'll try it out next time!

What a fabulous place. Casual, authentic Mexican food. Service is fast and friendly. You order at…read morethe counter and they have a great great salsa/sides bar (think pickled veggies and onions, slaw, limes for garnish, jalapenos) and if you're eating in, they give you chips while you wait; your food is brought right to your table. I'm making it my goal to try everything on the menu but it's going to take a while. The burritos are huge and delicious and loaded with fillings and they don't skimp on the meat. Birria and Chile Colorado are my favorites, chicken is plentiful but tends to be a tiny bit on the bland side so the salsas come in handy for that. The platos are HUGE. The refried beans are the best I've had anywhere. Tacos are also great. Have not tried the fish ones yet but I have a friend who's currently addicted so I'm assuming they're good as well. I have not encountered a miss on the menu yet. Looking forward to my next visit!

We had adobada, asada and chicken tacos, added a side of fried onion and serrano pepper. The adobada meat was ok, chicken was good and our favorite was the asada. I didn't like the default salsa they put on the tacos, would've preferred just onion and cilantro. In fact I didn't like any of the salsas they offered, the green salsa was the only decent one and I'm sure the orange looking salsa was on its way out, it tasted and smelled funky. Customer service was great. We might come back just for asada tacos but maybe not.
