Prices were kind of high for a Suffolk County smoke shop, for both cigars and cigarettes, though he had a lot of different types of specialty cigarettes, including every variety of Nat Sherman, Dunhill, imported ones, and the outlawed cloves varieties. So, why one star? Well, the gentleman who I assume is the owner, was NASTY to me. He would not let me handle or go near the cigars, let alone open the case myself, and then when I went to pay, asked me for ID, which is fine, but then proceeded to tell me it was fake! I was about to walk out, but figured the cigar would get me through a long day at work. Avoid.

I took my business here because I'm a believer in supporting small businesses and shops as much as possible. Today, as I called before driving over, I was told that this is no longer possible. Specifically when asking about why a box that's available to consumers for $17 online is being sold for $25 in store, I was told to call the other store to speak to a manager. As I called the other store, the employee hung up on me mid sentence, and did not pick up any of my next few calls. When they finally did, I was told that "this is our rule and we charge you the price we need to charge you because you get the convenience of having the product now. You can buy your products online and wait". As a retail store, even though it's understandable to have prices at slightly higher levels to make a profit when not selling at larger volumes like online retailers, there is no justification to not work with customers making reasonable requests. Expecting the "lowest price guaranteed" is a lot to ask from small business owners, but customer service and reasonable prices is the bare minimum. I will do as the manager told me to and take my business elsewhere. Save your $ for someplace that doesn't hike up prices over 45% and appreciates customer loyalty.

Decided it was worth the 25 minute drive to go scope it out since I've been on the hunt to find such a place nearer to me in Westchester without luck. Their location was easy to find and street parking readily available The store itself was pleasant, well lit, and fully as well as professionally merchandised. I received excellent assistance & info from the sales associate (sorry forgot his name) on the floor who gave me a tour of their edible assortment. It's important to mention that all products carried at Hush are made in the state of NY so this obviously helps support our local economy. I decided on a couple of different brands of full spectrum sleep inducing cannabis gummies. My transaction was easy & painless, although please be aware that Hush only takes cash & debit cards. Luckily l was prepared having perused their website prior to my visit. During my checkout I discussed with the associate whether they carried cannabis coffee beans and was pleasantly surprised and very thankful when he gifted me a product sample they are thinking of stocking. All in all I came away very satisfied with my experience at Hush and definitely plan to return in the future. And what I really love is how they display their flower. It's all set up like tiny little trees in the dopest (ha!) forest in the whole Pacific Northwest.
