The best blowout, color and cut I've ever had!! They are quick, detailed and have competitive prices! Sue knows how to cut curly hair and is conservative and very honest! She's not scissor happy thank god! Her daughter Talie applies color with precision and fast... I love that I'm not sitting around for an hour gabbing about what ever while I'm getting my color. She's fast and NEAT... no color splatter shower! Make no mistake - they are super friendly, but super busy especially on weekends! Sue has a very swamped, but FANTASTIC manicurist (Lein) in her salon too, so, when your color is setting get a fill, full set, pedi or blingy nails!! I've been getting my nails done by her for 9 years and would follow her to NY if I had to! Call them for a try! You won't regret it! read more

Sue Hair - Thank you guys love you for your amazing job - Hair Salons Near Me - Encino, California

I really enjoyed my cut, color, and blowout! The color looks amazing and I really like the length of my hair. Upon entering, I was quickly seated and Sue's daughter got started on my hair immediately. After coloring my hair, which looks extremely natural and there is excellent coverage, Sue began to trim my hair, and I was scared she would cut too much off, but she did exactly what I asked her to (remove the split ends) and nothing more! Very pleased with Sue Hair and I'll most definitely be returning when I get my highlights and if I ever want another blowout. read more

I used to always go to Sue when I needed my eyebrows threaded. I have very thick, stubborn eyebrows that have a mind of their own. Sue always managed to do such a great job making them look so perfect. She always fit me in and never misses any hair. I moved to the westside a few years ago, and I've yet to find an eyebrow threader as good as Sue! If you're close by, definitely go to her!! read more

I have been going to Sue for 20 years! She can do anything, cut, color, blowouts and they always come out great. She listens and wants you to be happy with the results. The prices are quite reasonable and appointments are also available on Sundays. I recommend Sue, you will be satisfied going to her salon! read more

I called to get a quote and make an appointment. On the phone, I was told a cut and blow was $30-$35. I made the appointment. A sweet girl washed my hair, and I then sat waiting for the senior stylist. She cut my hair quick quick and the whole thing felt rushed. As a client, I like to be respected and feel that my hair stylist really cares about cutting my hair. Then the junior stylist proceeded to blow dry my hair. She did a great job and I was very happy with the end result. I go up front to pay and was shocked to find out I was charged $65! I asked why it was so much and that amout was not what I was quoted. She said that the lady on the phone didnt hear me properly. I was really irritated since it was a mistake on their part and they didn't try to rectify it. Overall average haircut, management could be better as well as staff friendliness. read more

I've been going to Sue for 10 years! She's one of those local gems that's like family, yet still offers amazing service at affordable prices. I used to go to expensive Beverly Hills salons, but no one can cut or style better than Sue! I've introduced so many friends to her. read more

While my hair turned out very nice and it was done in a timely manner, the staff was not friendly and hardly communicated with me. I asked on the phone how long a blow out would take before booking my appointment and was told 20-25 minutes. I arrived on time for my appointment and was hardly acknowledged, then waited another 15 minutes. I told the woman who hardly greeted me that I was in a time crunch and was told over the phone it would take 20-25 min for a blow out. She said they could do one very quickly and I was soon taken to get my hair washed. The woman who washed my hair was very friendly but tried to convince me to get my eyebrows done by her. Then the woman who gave me my blow out didn't say much to me or ask how I'd like my hair done. She just blow dried my hair and at the end asked if I wanted curls. The entire time she talked to her workmates in another language and ignored me. My hair looked great and it was done quickly, but it was an unpleasant experience. read more

I have Alice do my hair. I have followed her from Mehri's salon in Encino, which by the way was and is the most dismal salon I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. Love Alice, love this salon. She blows my hair out twice a week and does a phenomenal job, half of what it would cost at The Blow dry bar. I would follow ALice to the end of the earth and I am very happy with the salon, it's clean, parking is great and I give this my highest recommend read more

Sue has been doing my hair for years, I do not trust anyone other than her to do my color and cut. Prices are amazing , always on time, clean professional and friendly . Does not know what the heck she is doing and tries to up-sell Services. I'm really sick of these places that line Ventura Blvd with a certain type of salon owner. Do these people have legitimate cosmetology licenses? read more

I had the worst ever experience at this hair salon yesterday. She burned my hair and I lost so much hair. I went just to see if they could match the top part of my hair with the middle part of my hair, which was a little reddish and I wanted a medium blond.Sue convinced me to do some low light at the middle and then color the whole hair to kind of blend them and match the color. after removing the color I noticed the color was too light, like a very wired high light, I asked her,why this happened?she was also surprised with the result, and was saying she doesn't know and she didn't want that color, immediately she made another color and applied all over. After rinsing I had so many different color. What made me extremely mad that most of my hair were so damaged and was smashing and falling off. I was touching my hair and and constantly bunch of my hair were falling off. My hair got too dry and rough. I lost so much hair and my scalp is so red and sensitive, I am so scared of loosing so much more hair. I had very long hair, which right now I have it to cut too short, which is a big emotionally trauma to me. Don't go to her, she looks so tired and keeps complanning of being too tired and I believe she is not focused and shouldn't continue working like that, which cause damage to people that will go there. Best place to get your hair done. Sue is the only one who can cut my 11 year olds hair right. She has thick hair and is half Puerto Rican.
