AVOID AT ALL COSTS this place is expensive for all machines. This place reeks of mildew. 80% of dryers are out of service and the dryers that do "work" do not work well. I dried my clothes for well over an hour and clothes still came out wet. The owner was at the laundromat and seemed to only care about collecting the money while multiple machines were still broken. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME and AVOID this place. I would give ZERO stars if I could. read more

Clean, fair prices, nice staff, and options for laundry service. This will be my go to spot for laundry for sure.

The attendant, Jennifer, was EXTREMELY rude and aggressive for no reason. Clearly power hungry. We went here to wash clothes mid Saturday, a customer had use of 12 out of 21 available dryers as 8 are out of order. No signs state you cannot remove clothing from machines when an attendet is present. There's a laundry guidelines sign that state none of this. But there is a sign that says 'we are not responsible for unattended laundry'. I have stuff to do with my day so when the moment came that someone's dryer was up on time, I removed the clothes and put them in a basket. I've come in plenty of times to my clothes being in a basket, it's how laundry mats work. When the customers came in they even stated they figured that wouldve happened. When notifying me this was a rule, it was EXTREMELY aggressive for no reason. A simple, 'hey, if the clothes aren't yours, please notify me so I can remove them for you'. Instead it was, 'did you really just remove these clothes!? Are they even yours?! If you want to go around doing that you should put an application in since we are hiring and you feel so entitled to do that' - the attendant called management upon request and confirmed this is a rule but did not agree with how it was brought up by the attendent. After the call ended with management we stayed around as we did not feel safe leaving our clothes with someone so hostile in her words, actions and body language towards us. Jennifer continued to make small comments the whole time we were there to other customers 'SOME people keep going around taking clothes out of dryers' - or 'sorry if your clothes are wrinkly those people over there removed them without consent'. She even bragged loudly to another customer how she made another customer mad last Saturday and how it was 'so funny'. We will not be back to this laundry mat. Management should hire people who know how to talk to customers and are KIND in their word choices. read more

Okay y'all this is going to sound a little wishy-washy umm sorry had to try to start out with a bit of laughter. This establishment was kept very clean and well stocked with supplies needed if you forget to bring your own. When I spend the season in Keene I don't have access all the time to a washer and dryer. So I ended up coming to this establishment a couple times a week. Although it's quite convenient to get all of your wash done at once it isn't convenient when most of the machines are not working. Each time I returned it seemed like more dryers weren't in service so we ended up washing our clothes and waiting for a dryer to open up.Then most of them did not dry my clothes fast enough so I ended up spending a lot of money to get my clothes dry. I would even try to dry smaller loads so I wouldn't have to keep putting quarters in. Next season I probably will need to find a better laundromat that has more reliable washer and dryer's. I did appreciate the fact that they had many different services available, such as them washing and drying clothes and folding it for you to pick up. Unfortunately, that meant the staff was using the dryers that did work as you waited until they were finished doing their clients laundry. read more

I would first like to premise that I rarely use this establishment. I normally use the facility in my local town. On occasion I do need to run errands in Keene, and will do laundry here while I am out and about. EVERY TIME I come to Suds Bucket, now called Village Laundromat, 60-80% of their dryers are broken. If it is busy, good luck getting a dryer!!! That is literally half the reason people go to the laundromat!!! Honestly, if you can't offer complete service, then don't bother opening your doors until you can! I will say that this establishment is normally very clean and tidy, and the people working inside are very pleasant. However, I'm concerned that at times, they only offer half of the services that they advertise due to poor maintenance/repair. Do not care that you're only offering a sub par product at best? Many of their appliances are out of order. Don't go on a busy day. If you are the first one to discover a broken machine, don't expect to be reimbursed. They do have a good location, which explains the third star. read more

I use this laundromat at least once a week , most of the time it is absolutely wonderful, I bring my 2 year old and the ladies there are all so sweet to her, today though I had a different experience with one of the women working, she was extremely rude to me when I had an issue with the dryer, snapped at me front of my daughter and offered no help, the other woman working however was completely helpful and very nice, I expressed to her how I thought the other lady was rude and she agreed with me, assuring me the issue I was having with the dryer was noty fault, I don't know the name of the rude employee but she is younger with light red hair. read more

I visit suds about once a month as I live on granite lake and try to be environmentally conscious. I always have several loads of laundry. The laundromat is always very clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful, from giving me a dryer sheet or an extra quarter when needed. These ladies don't just meet my expectations but exceed them. thank you and keep up the good work! read more

I worked at this place started last nov. there is only one person there that treated me awesome. the day shift girl Heather treated me like a child also accused me of things i never did there like shutting off the ac last summer when i didnt even work there then. she and the owner and the owners husband are all buddies. she would leave the owner weekly reminders of petty stuff. her daughters woud come in sit on the counters or make out with their other half. the owners husband one night called me and threatened not to pay me because i blocked off the middle section after washing hours to mop. i had to call out one day for a family emergancy called the owner her response was oh and then hung up on me. the people that work there steal your tips you work hard for. i could go on about how i was treated but theres not enough space here to put it all. if you have them wash your clothes for you trust me there not going to be clean because they use very little soap. the owner owns other places as well and none of them are any better always told us waiting on parts to fix the machines no they are not they have some guys come in just to rig the broken machines to onl work a few days then they break down again. ive heard alot from customers that there only in it for the money. the owners husband ran for cheshire county sherrif so with that he seems to think he can down woman and speak to them like crap. read more

I'm not sure about the washers but the dryers only give you 4 min per quarter! The wash house on Marlboro St, I can dry a regular large load of laundry for a dollar. I split it into 2 dryers, 50cents each. Hottest dryers in the city. Not the cleanest but your $ stretches much farther. The staff here doesn't speak to patrons or even look around to see if anyone needs assistance. Plus they act annoyed if you do ask for help. read more

I was told my clothing was held for me and last night the lady who was working sped off on me. I was told my clothes was held up front and I had a cee things held out back and the rest of my expensive stuff is gone. I called the cops and notified them. There will be a lawsuit unless I get my hundreds of dollars worth of clothing back. ​ read more

New management recently at Suds and it's been impossible to find a clean washer and several dryers are down. hoped it was a one off but it's been like this the last handful of times I've been. Looking for a new laundry mat now and won't be back. read more

Does not get any better. Sometimes your schedule does not allow for waiting while clothes wash and dry. No problem at Suds Bucket. You can drop it off for $1 per pound and pick it up the same day. Very nicely folded and packed. Excellent service. I mostly interface with Doreen (hope I got the spelling correct) and she is awesome to assist customers. This place is well run. Great selection for washing and drying. Very clean which is very important to me. If I could give 6 stars I would. -Dale Montrone read more

I use this laundromat every week, and unless the girl with green hair is there, it's not a problem. Sure, most of the machines dont work, and are "waiting for parts" but when the sign on the door says it's open until 10, and the crackhead "running" the place says we can't come in after 8, I think someone should be made aware. There is no phone number to contact anyone, and if I have to start going to one of the other businesses that this owner owns just to have a face to face conversation I will, but what I WONT do is let this rude, trashy woman lie on behalf of a business because SHE "had a rough day" at her laundromat job. It was my first time using a laundromat in a long time and Suds Bucket Laundry was excellent. The attendant was the nicest and most helpful I have ever encountered at a laundromat. She answered my million questions and was super nice about it. She was very attentive to customers, and getting her other duties done as well. The prices are affordable, and the machines were nice. They also have WiFi, and the vending machines were reasonable priced in case you need a snack or a drink while your there. A nice place to do your laundry in Keene. read more

Seriously, I can't speak highly enough about this establishment. We have had consistently great results with their services. We are a local business and send all of our linens here. The staff is friendly and and efficient, and we always get great service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. read more
