Suddenlink is the worst company in Texas to do business with. Their service is horrible and the customer service is worst than horrible. You can't even watch a movie without the service rebooting all the time. If the service works at all it will be off for hours. You call for a credit for all the time you had no service and their computers don't work. I guess their using Suddenlink service for their internet. The service is below one. read more

Once again the internet is crawling. This is the second week in a row that this has happened and both times Suddenlink tells me that there isn't anything wrong and they want to send out a technician. However they cannot get there for 4 days. So much for customer service. My download speed should be around 400 and it is at 5, but there isn't a problem. I cannot wait till there is competition so I can switch. I would never recommend this company. read more

This is the absolute worst internet service provider that there is & their customer service & technicians are even worse than their service! Too bad I have to give them 1 star in the review bc they aren't even worth that! A technician came to my house to "activate" my internet service at 8:30am & it's now 9:45pm & I've called & spoke with multiple ignorant customer service agents today & have been told everything ranging from "service is out in area & will be restored within 4 hours, to there is no reported outage in the area, call back to the local office tomorrow, etc". This is after the useless technician that came out this morning took my $50 check for service that I haven't received!!! Edited to add update: the following day when I called, it turned out that the technician who had come out to "activate my service", actually did NOTHING but plug a router in basically. He also STOLE my cable splitter & some of my coax cable. He didn't activate my modem which turned out to be the only reason that I was without service for 30+ hours! Out of the 6 times that I called & the 6 different people I talked to, only the last one was of any help, by activating my modem. All the others lied & gave me the run around telling me there was an outage & that was the reason I had no service. The reason I had no service the whole time is because my modem wasn't activated! Customer Service at suddenlink is terrible. We are remote owners and we cannot get service people out to fix our slow internet. Or they tell us they have been out and fix the problem when they haven't. We're going to try Eastex. read more

Suddenlink is terrible. I have been without internet or cable for 4 days and they have no idea when it will be fixed. It's not just me. All my neighbors are out too. Their customer service is the worse. One lady told me someone would be at my house within the hour to fix it. I knew that was a lie. So i called back to verify and after waiting 40 mins the lady said nobody was coming today and they did not know when they would be able to fix it. They would not connect me to the maintenance dept or contact them on my behalf. This is not my 1st issue with them. But they are the only game in town. read more

I had problems with the cable from the very beginning. For months I could not get the upper channel I was paying for. If I did they were scrambled. When a tech came in October he said the original installer used the direct TV port. So since April I did not get what I paid for. I am still fighting with them over a bill adjustment. Now our internet goes out about every 45 minutes. I called and was told if tech came and it was equipment he would not exchange it. I need to take modem back to store myself. Worst customer service I have ever had with any service or utility provider. If you are thinking about subscribing to Sudden Link DON'T DO IT!!! Once again internet service that is slower than a snail, just ran speed Test and we are moving at a blazing .064 Mbps for download and 0.68 for upload. I am paying for high speed service, where is my refund??!! read more
