    Never use AT&T or go into this store. It will take 2+ hours just to talk with someone and they…read moredon't have any sense of urgency. It's even worse trying to call customer service on the phone. On top of it, they charge a ridiculous fee for internet $300+ per month for average speed. If you want a stressful experience with no customer service get AT&T.

Every single person I interacted with at AT&T, both in-store and over the phone, either lied outright or gave me deliberately misleading information. I live in a rural area and was told by an employee at the Joplin location that their internet would work where I live. I specifically asked if I could cancel without fees if it didn't, and he assured me I could. That was a lie. The internet was unusably slow, not "a little slow," but so bad that nothing would load. When I tried to cancel, I was tossed back and forth between the store and customer service like it was a game. Customer service was shockingly rude and told me I'd owe hundreds of dollars in cancellation fees. When I told them the store had promised otherwise, they said that we would still have to pay. I asked, "Do they honor what their store representatives say?" and I was told, "No." They went on to tell me, "That I could call a lawyer if I wanted." I told them not to cancel my service and I would go to the store to find out what to do. The store employees pretended to be helpful but kept giving me incorrect customer service phone numbers just to get me out of the door. I eventually had to use Reddit, yes, Reddit, to find the actual phone numbers to reach anyone competent. A month later, AT&T charged me hundreds of dollars. When I called to find out why, they had cancelled my service without my permission. They said too much time had passed for them to fix it. After more than ten hours on the phone (mostly on hold), they finally admitted their mistake and agreed to refund me. They gave me another number to call, but every time I call, I am placed on hold for one to two hours, then the line goes dead. It's astonishing that a company can operate with this level of dishonesty, rudeness, and total lack of accountability and still stay in business. AT&T feels less like a telecom company and more like a corporate scam operation hiding behind a well-known brand name. I switched to Starlink, and it's been perfect. Fast, reliable, transparent, everything AT&T isn't. Save yourself the anger and the hours of wasted time. Stay far, far away from AT&T.

In that case, if you MUST use satellite internet this place has the best speed and functionality. Customer service is terrible, they bent the gutters on my house when the dirt bag showed up install my dish. The final showing of Exede's appreciation of my money for two years; I called a week before I moved to make sure I was taking all the equipment I needed to return. the lady told me all I had to return was the modem and power cables. I specifically asked her if she needed the dish or anything done to the dish before I left. I was told nothing needed to be done to the dish, just leave it there, don't touch it. After I moved 3 hours away and I call back to officially cancel I was informed that I needed to access the dish and remove the transponder, and return it. when I told the service rep about what I was told he just kept repeating himself like I was a toddler. When the supervisor came on he did the same thing, kept reading me there "disclaimer" that stated I had to return the transponder. BS! When I told them they could go get it themselves I was told I would be billed $300.00, which if not paid would go to collections. This company is terrible. zero stars.

    Only wish I could give this company negative stars!!! Signed up with a company called Wildblue…read morewhich is part of the Viasat company. Good speed, but piss poor data package. Ridiculously small. Finally cancelled with them at the end of the 2-year contract. Exede told me I didn't have to return any equipment because it was Wildblue equipment that was out of date. Three months later a whopping bill from them for equipment not returned! Equipment is at the beach house so that means a trip up there to see if we tossed the stuff or not since we were told we didn't need to return it. Been on hold for a supervisor for over 15 minutes now. DO NOT GET INTO BED WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!
