Its a great fast internet company! I would like it if cable one had all fiber in their infostrucure network so customers could get like 2000 down load and 2000 upload. I think cable tv is a waste of money. Their internet is really really fast ! I would like it if they had no data caps. But i rather have extremly gigabit fiber optic speeds than unlimited data. I am a single mother, just moved to the area. I was promised a rate of 70$ and it ended up being 180$. Then the installation date was pushed back 2 weeks and I had to drop a class in college because of this. I had to miss work because they don't tell you when they're coming out. They came out and left. The only thing that has been enjoyable with this service was the Tech, he was pretty cute. But other than that, even calling in to ask if they can come back out so I didn't have to drop my class. I got hung up on twice and the communication was extremely dissatisfying, the agents were complete entitled assholes and did not care about what life struggles I was going through. They hooked my internet up yesterday and now my I need to pay MORE for my First bike in just 1 week. Absolutely horrible. I will not be staying long with this service provider. Had Cable One installed in my parents home in Mo. The initial conversations went well and they agreed to install new lines for internet and telephone. It took several weeks for install. Multiple modem/ routers over two days to get internet working. They could not drop new lines in interior wall (company policy) but most competitors do this. Telephone line could not be installed in Master bedroom. It took weeks to bury external line. Today external line was buried and main water line was damaged. Also damaged irrigation system. We became Cable One customers on 7/28/17 and they finished burying external line on 8/31/17. None of our original install requests were met as far as location of internet connection, modem location, phone line location and preservation of lawn and irrigation. All of these things were discussed and the company said they would be no problem. read more

This is the secone time I have had to use Cable One since they are the only internet option in both areas I have lived. The first time I had to call weekly because internet was dropping daily and they kept saying it was on my end. I was using their router and everything. This time I hesistantly got them again, but really had no other choice. Told I should have no issues. I haven't even had it a week and the internet is very inconsistent and drops even when I'm in the same room as the router and no other devices are being used. It is pathetic. They were suppose to send someone out. I get a phone call stating they would be here between the hours of 1:45-2:45. NO ONE SHOWED! I called the 800 number for them and kept receiving a messaging they were having technichal issues. Finally tried a different number and got through. They said they will send someone out next week. We will see if they show up. OUTRAGEOUS PRICES for VERY UNRELIABLE INTERNET!!!! read more
