    First off what I will say is; if you are considering this company for internet you are like I was…read moreand have no other option. In that case, if you MUST use satellite internet this place has the best speed and functionality. Customer service is terrible, they bent the gutters on my house when the dirt bag showed up install my dish. The final showing of Exede's appreciation of my money for two years; I called a week before I moved to make sure I was taking all the equipment I needed to return. the lady told me all I had to return was the modem and power cables. I specifically asked her if she needed the dish or anything done to the dish before I left. I was told nothing needed to be done to the dish, just leave it there, don't touch it. After I moved 3 hours away and I call back to officially cancel I was informed that I needed to access the dish and remove the transponder, and return it. when I told the service rep about what I was told he just kept repeating himself like I was a toddler. When the supervisor came on he did the same thing, kept reading me there "disclaimer" that stated I had to return the transponder. BS! When I told them they could go get it themselves I was told I would be billed $300.00, which if not paid would go to collections. This company is terrible. zero stars.

    Exede is a terrible internet service. I never heard of them before but was referred to them by…read moredirect tv. My fiancé and I switched to them hoping to save a little money, but we're actually spending more money every month on data overage charges on our cell phones haha. So, jokes on us! We told the lady on the phone how many devices we use and how often and she said we shouldn't have a problem, but she clearly was just saying whatever she needed to in order to get us to sign up with them. I do not recommend this company at all ! We've had them for two months now, and we've tried to cancel, but the cancelling process is so difficult, sitting on hold for two hours without speaking to a representative. So frustrating. PLUS, they want to charge us a $350 fee to cancel. We were told there was no contract, so why do we need to pay a cancellation fee? The internet never works - which is the main purpose of this company. UPDATE: I have finally given in and paid the $350 cancellation fee last month. I check my credit statements today and come to find out they charged me another $320 a couple days ago. When I called to ask them why, they said they never received my equipment back. I SENT THE EQUIPMENT BACK WEEKS AGO AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER. The lady tried looking up my tracking number, the one that THEY gave me, came with the box they sent me to send the equipment back, and she said it was coming up as a duplicate and so she couldn't find the package and I'd have to call back Monday. Huh? This company is such a scam. I've paid them close to $1,000 for two months of internet service. It's ridiculous. SECOND UPDATE (and hopefully the last): They sent me another box so I could send my equipment back. I guess the lady clearly didn't understand when I told her I already sent it a month ago. Anyway... After dealing with this for a couple weeks now, multiple phone calls, things are finally "resolved." My last phone call, was with the rudest employee there I've encountered thus far. It was like pulling teeth. He "couldn't help me at all" in regards to my package. After being on the phone and arguing for 45 minutes, and being placed on hold 5 times so he could "find out information for me" I've had enough. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was once again placed on hold, for him to come back and say they found my package and "everything is good." Why couldn't he tell me that in the beginning? Wasn't until I asked for a manager that I was able to get some answers. Lastly I asked for a reference number for the call just in case they come back in the future saying they didn't receive my equipment. He keeps telling me they don't give reference numbers for the calls, they don't exist. I went on to explain to him that I have 6 reference numbers for each of my previous calls over the past couple weeks. He tried to argue with me, eventually put me on hold for 5 minutes and then came back with a reference number. This company is such a scam. Seriously. Its never taken me two months to cancel services with a company before. Unbelievable. UPDATE 3-2-2017: they sent my information to COLLECTIONS. When I called exede to ask them why I am receiving a letter from collection agencies. They said it was because I never returned my equipment. I told the lady on the phone I have the reference number, the date and time and all of the information for proof that I returned my equipment. THE GUY TOLD ME ON THE PHONE THE DATE AND TIME THEY RECEIVED MY PACKAGE WITH THE EQUIPMENT. I gave her that information, she came back saying "all good, we removed you from our collections list" ... they didn't. I strongly dislike this company. Soooo crooked. This is never ending.
