Whenever we're in town, we make sure to stop by The Barrel House with my mother-in-law--it's become a bit of a tradition! I've had TWO employees hand me my food, not say a word, then look at me confused as to why I hadn't driven away yet. I didn't know they'd given me everything. Usually you get a "have a great day!" I've also had them mess up my order, then make a huge deal when they had to fix it. Today was the worst yet. They told me their ice cream machine was down so they didn't have to make a milkshake. When I worked there, the milkshakes were made in separate machines. The girl tried to be all smart by saying milkshakes are made of ice cream. It was rude. Then the girl at the next window handed me my food and said nothing, again! I worked in fast food before (McDonalds to be specific) and I try to be understanding and kind to the employees. It's really frustrating when you can't even get that as a customer in return. My family and I will no longer be going here and I hope those that read this chose to do the same.
