McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Winnsboro, Texas

This McDonalds has the absolute worst service. The young girls who work there give the rudest customer service I've ever experienced. I've had TWO employees hand me my food, not say a word, then look at me confused as to why I hadn't driven away yet. I didn't know they'd given me everything. Usually you get a "have a great day!" I've also had them mess up my order, then make a huge deal when they had to fix it. Today was the worst yet. They told me their ice cream machine was down so they didn't have to make a milkshake. When I worked there, the milkshakes were made in separate machines. The girl tried to be all smart by saying milkshakes are made of ice cream. It was rude. Then the girl at the next window handed me my food and said nothing, again! I worked in fast food before (McDonalds to be specific) and I try to be understanding and kind to the employees. It's really frustrating when you can't even get that as a customer in return. My family and I will no longer be going here and I hope those that read this chose to do the same. read more

Ordered a Big Mac... this is what I received. The order was wrong from the word go. I ordered Big Mac 10 nuggets and a large fries.. I got a large Dr Pepper no Fries... this restaurant is ran by teenagers and we pull to the window and there are two boys hanging out at the counter and the girls were clearly distracted.. if she wasn't distracted then large fries should sound like large fries-- not Dr Pepper.... Got all the way home to only open my Big Mac which I haven't had one in twenty years... I wanted one.. only to be disappointed by a double cheeseburger imposter. Drove all the way back to town to return this disgrace!!! What happened to customer service!!! What happened to service with a smile!! read more

Service is horrible. Soggy/old fries.. and burnt chicken sandwich. Ran out of Dr. Pepper. We've had it good before but not this time.. one of the only restaurants opened after 8 in small town Winnsboro and it's awful. read more

People at the window are nice, but they're always missing food from the bags. This would be rated higher if they didn't run out of stuff constantly (in which management needs to order more inventory), as well as properly reading the order so that items aren't missing. read more

This McDonald's doesn't seem to sell most of the normal menu. No salads, no McRibs (even during promotion time.) I search for deals on the app for this location and they list coupons for items they don't sell. This is unfortunate because the employees are always friendly and helpful. read more

Worst McDonalds I've ever been to. Filthy. Some things in the restaurant had what looked like months of food crust on them. Food spattered on every wall and ceiling. Floors greasy. Order kiosks didn't work. Something is very wrong with the water that mixes with the syrup and CO2 at drink station. Drinks taste bad. McNuggets taste like the frying oils is old. McDonald's should have fast food down to a science by now. This one clearly does not by any means. We ate here twice and both times and both times our orders were wrong. The same orders that we told them, then they repeated back to us, then showed up on the screen yet were still wrong. How many redundant fail safes do you need to get an order right? When I called the phone was not answered ever. I just don't understand how you can continuously make mistakes and them not be addressed let alone fixed. Just not worth the hassle. Mornings are good service. Afternoons are terrible. I waited ten minutes at the loud speaker. I had a mobile order and went through the drive thru. They asked for money. I paid on the app. I get to the next window...they ask me what I ordered. I wait fifteen minutes or more outside in parking lane 1 after being directed there. I went inside to finally get my order with my child. I continue to wait...I finally get my food after guy remembers my face. They give me food. They don't give me my 2 milks. I wait another five minutes. I'm mad about my experience from today. I need them to figure it out up there. It's been five plus years since this location has opened and I can't telL that it's gotten any better. read more

My husband and I just got back from McDonald's with our food. To start off with we only live less than a quarter of a mile from McDonald's. My husband ordered 2 Big Mac's and a medium fries. I ordered the fish combo meal. The Pro's:. McDonald's is close. They can't screw up a Coke with no ice. The fries we got and fresh. Now the Con's: Both of my husband's and my sandwiches were cold. The cheese wasn't melted, heck it was still a solid slice of cheese. His hamburger patties and my fish were cold. The buns weren't even warmed. Now I know that everyone says call the manager, which I did. I spoke to Christina, she did apologize and said that she would talk to her cook. She took my name and number and said to come back either today or any time next week and get a complete fresh meal on her. She was so sweet and apologetic and I appreciate what she done for us. Great going Christina, you're an epic manager who looks out for her customers. read more

So, clearly, no one expects McDonald's to be a 4-star dining experience. But this is absolutely the most poorly managed McDonald's I have ever seen. I gave them one more shot - and not only did they lose my order, but they argued with me about it. The staff is lazy and disrespectful, often complaining loudly about their working conditions in earshot of the consumer. But I found the manager to be pretty lazy as well, not responding to my demands for a refund while hiding in the back of the restaurant. That explains why a McDonalds's could be so bad. Well lets start this from the beginning i went through the drive thru and ordered a double patty deluxe burger as well a single patty deluxe both meals add 2 cups of mac sauce and 2 kids meals. Well as i pulled forward i noticed there was no mac sauce so i ran in and they made the cups quickly i then left and got home noticed the burgers were made with no toppings ran back was given a big mac which they took back and served to someone else after i touched it then they gave me to two double burgers deluxes but at this point i was like okay just take them when i got home to eat them they looked cooked but were infact raw on the inside! Ruined mcdonalds for me and burgers for awhile. I never have had this issue before at any mcdonalds so hopefully if i ever eat at one again (not thos location) things will go better read more

17 minutes for 2 sweet teas? Not the first time! I have rarely heard "thank you " from the drive through staff. I do get smiles from one sweet lady who works there, I don't know her name. Once I accidentally said "regular" egg McMuffin. They had to correct it twice! I guess the word "regular" threw the young man off! Would love to love this place! read more

The crew is always SUPER nice but the last 4 our of 5 times I've been there my order has been wrong. It's mostly the Iced Moca - they usually give me iced coffee instead or they add carmel...so frustrating. When you order the screen even has a picture of the Iced moca with the whipcream, etc...still they manage to screw it up. Last time I was there I ordered a sausage /egg bisquit - when they gave it to me it had cheese. I sent back and about a minute later they handed me a bag - the problem was that it was another customers order. Seems like a management / trainging issu. This is THE WORST McDonald's I've ever been to. My order has never, not once, been correct or even close to what I ordered. The staff is extremely unfriendly and rude. Not impressed. At all. I am sorry but this McDonald's is possibly the worst one i have been at especially to be in such a small town. The Drive thru and inside service is OMG slow when during a time when they should HUSSLE to get your order out they only work at one speed. No special orders in the morning because no one can custom a no cheese order Unbelievable. I feel sorry for the employees if the manager or owner is not aware of these issues and not doing there job to address what should be a Mcdonalds standard for customer service . Again guys get you act together . You should not have to wait 15 min for an order of fries that they forgot to put in your sack and you had to reminded them TWICE what you were standing in line for ! read more

I was in Winnsboro, TX today and stopped at McDonald's to get lunch. They got my order wrong. A young kid then returns to the window and gives me someone else's order, which I explained to him that I did not order and that this was not "my" order and handed it back to him. I was very nice and understanding. He then asked for my receipt, which I gave him. He then asked me to pull up. I sat there for at least 15 minutes or more- after I was asked to pull up and wait. At least 5 or more cars pulled through while I was waiting outside for my order. Everything was going fine, until I pulled up, parked and went in. They asked me what I needed and I told them I was the one waiting on my order. I explained to the manager that I already had the burgers, just not the fries and or the rest of my drinks. The young kid then tells her that I "did not" tell him that. I told her to pull up the camera and she could clearly see that I "did" tell him that. While I was talking to her, the man in the back called me a "BITCH". What upset me the most is I was being super nice up until that point. I asked to speak to the district manager. She gave me her name and said she wouldn't be in until tomorrow (Monday 12/2/19). The local manager was very kind and tried to make things right- so I did appreciate that and respect her for that. Can't believe I was treated this way. Good luck to all who encounter this crew. I did report it to corporate! I will continue driving forward with this complaint until I'm heard- trust me! read more
