There is ample parking outside and the inside is spacious with lots of tables, though none bigger than 4 seats. We sat at two tables next to each other and all found what we wanted on the menu. One notable mention - they have three kinds of fries! Fresh cut, waffle, and curly - a fact which delighted all of us. Overall the food was good, about what you would expect. The ice cream was the real star of the show, super creamy and flavorful with a lot of unique options available on the menu. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly, if a bit slow. Not sure if our server was new but there were a few small errors made when bringing our food out and cashing out. That being said, none of it was a huge deal or worth griping over. Seemed like the best option in Shelby and we'd come back!

We got the three meat sampler and all the meats were dry. The pork had a freezer taste to it. The brisket tasted like shredded beef jerky in a can. The only saving grace was the bbq sauce. You could easily make better bbq in your oven at home. The best part of this place was the sides and they were mids. The chicken was okay.

I don't know what changed at the Ashland Ohio branch, but all of a sudden I could no longer get a drink to go in my thermos as I was always used to doing on the rare occasions I visited It's not like I go through pop like water, (I don't!) I always paid whatever the price was to take a thermos full of my favorite drink, which was usually mountain dews gold lightning I never visit a restaurant unless I'm loaded with enough to be able to pay for a half gallon drink, but because all of a sudden without warning they didn't let me use my thermos on one of the rare occasions I ever visited, I ended up leaving without ordering for that particular reason Because of this, I found a better deal down the street at one of their competitors At some point I was in my limousine and went through another KFC drive-thru in another area, so things were considerably better, so it really depends which branch you visit, and who's working there If the Ashland Ohio branch would resume letting me fill my half gallon thermos, I'd consider coming back as a customer, but because of what happened there, I haven't been back to that particular branch in Ashland Ohio since When I visited another branch, I was in a limousine and things went well, but when I visited the store in person in Ashland Ohio, things were a contrast difference between the branches Again, it depends which branch you go to, and who's working there, what crazy unreasonable policies they have If you have a bad experience at one branch, try another branch in another location, or go to a competitor Shop around UNTIL you're HAPPY
