It's open normal office hours and this was later in the evening. So I got their automatic message to call back tomorrow. Good luck getting help after 5pm is my point. So I paid for the chips & guac, which is not cheap. I was annoyed at myself and Chipotle for this whole thing. I knew I spent way too much time already trying to find their contact info. But now I was on a mission to get this refund. I invested way too much of my life at this point. I figured I would reach out the next day. Another thing to add to my list of crap to do. I understand how frustrating it is when a promotion doesn't get applied as intended. For this offer, the code must be entered at checkout and applied before the order is submitted, and it cannot be added or adjusted afterward once the transaction is completed. Because of that, we're not able to manually apply or refund the promotion after the order has already been placed. I know this isn't the outcome you were hoping for, and I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience. I appreciate you taking the time to reach out and share your experience." I was like, what kind of customer service is that? I asked if they could provide me with a gift card or coupon code for chips & guac on a future order. They said nope, that's not happening. When I told them this was pretty crappy customer service they offered me a free beverage. Ugh! First of all I don't want a beverage. Second of all, a beverage is much cheaper than the chips & guac. Like come on bro, is this really putting the company out? So I told them no thanks on the free beverage, but I won't be back. Customer service like that says a lot. I work in the restaurant industry and I can't imagine treating a customer like that. I haven't been there since and will not be returning in the future.
