The teriyaki sauce was flavorful just needed more. The turkey and chicken salad sandwich were basic sandwiches but bread was decent. The bread pudding was dry for me. I like a sauce with mine. The blueberry was ok and the almond was too sweet. The cherry pie was delicious though. I liked the thick crust and tart cherries.

Let me begin by saying that when my husband and I want fast food, that is reasonably healthier than…read morethe typical burger or chicken our choice is Subway sandwiches. We stopped at our local Subway and he ordered our usual cold cut combo. We were told they had no lettuce so she gave us a couple sprigs of spinach instead. He did not get drinks. Only the chips which had no choice at all. We were offered Sun chips or baked Lays. Yuck. We get down the road on our trip and I take the first bite of my sandwich. Had we not been traveling I would have spit it out. I opened my Subway sandwich, and there was nothing on it but bologna, no pepperoni no salami. Just baloney. I don't typically pay 6+ dollars for a bologna sandwich. That was the skimpiest subway sandwich we have ever gotten anywhere. I tried calling the restaurant and the phone rang off the hook. OK. I thought maybe the management office was closed on the weekend hence my call today. The same result. This location is terrible. Don't waste your money. I threw the sandwich away.

I asked for a manager to inform them so that someone doesn't actually get hurt, but the employees stated they would let the manager know and they are not allowed to give out the manager's phone number. They did not seem to be in a hurry to call their manager, but after insisting, they came and looked at the hazard and agreed it was an issue. I've attached photos of the hazard. I fell down around 10:35 AM and caught myself, but at 7:15 PM am still experiencing hand, shoulder, back, and toe pain. Whoever is the owner of this parking lot needs to be informed and aware that this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. If you trip on this hazard, please be aware that the restaurant IS AWARE of the danger as of 10:45 AM, refused to let me speak with someone in charge, and that it has already caused minor injuries to myself, a pregnant woman.

This is really disappointing because we love the food at Schlotzky's & this is the only location left in Louisiana. We just stopped here during July 4, 2026 weekend. The entire glass front door was cracked & looked like it would shatter if you touched it, but it was not covered for safety. They didn't have ANY tea made & the water out of the coke machine tasted horrible (in Shreveport, we have F grade water, but this was somehow infinitely worse), so I didn't even get a drink that we paid for. Both bathrooms are extremely dirty. My husband said there are never any paper towels in the men's room & the air dryer is rusted & too gross to use. And the water sprays out like crazy when you barely turn it on. He said it also stinks. The ladies room is also gross & the sink looks like it hasn't been cleaned in many years. The toilet seat doesn't fit on the toilet & slides around everywhere when you're not moving. The water barely comes out of the faucet, making it hard to wash your hands. (For at least a few years, the bathroom door locks didn't even work, but I guess they finally fixed that, at least.) We sat at the one table we could find that wasn't dirty. My husband also noticed some of the floor tiles are coming loose. My husband said his Original sandwich wasn't hot all the way through & his chips were stale. And they gave me the wrong dipping sauce with my calzone. We were weirded out by how dirty the restrooms & restaurant were, making us really concerned about how clean the kitchen & food could be when everything else is so dirty. So due to all of this, we will not be returning.
