After traveling eight hours on the interstate, we got off the exit to grab a bite to eat at sonic. We pulled up to this location at 8:15 pm after checking the hours online. The hours online and posted on the store stated they closed at 9:00 pm. I would not recommend visiting this location. Stopped here on way to visit Sewanee. I am surprised by the low ratings as I considered this one of the better subways that I have visited. Buns were fresh, meat was good and toppings were good too. It does get busy here due to being right off interstate and limited options for fast service food when visiting. The place was clean and offered ample seating. read more

I used the app to order my meal. More or less options were completely ignored. I asked for more onion and wrote in special instructions that I wanted a good amount of onions. I opened my sub to find exactly 7 single pieces of onion over the whole footling. Ordered 3 items for a total of almost $50. Even the mozzarella they charge $3+ had only 1 mozzarella per side of the sandwich and all the other restaurants use 3-4. For a sandwich to include everything but lettuce these are the smallest saddest sandwiches I have ever seen. Subway on the mountain be prepared to wait. Ordered through the app to get promo discount but when I arrived at the time to pick up they had not even started the order. I requested my sandwich not be toasted but was toasted anyways. Once we got our order, the food is good. First, lets talk about customer service...when there are a dozen people in line waiting to order and pay, you can stock the straws and napkins later. There is one person making sandwiches and another running around like a chicken with her head cut off! The was a manager very rude he was down right disrespectful. The man kept reminding us rudely that extra meat costs more which of corse we've been plenty of times and ordered the same thing we know. Stop in there 4/8, what a mistake. First we asked did they serve the new melt sandwich. Both employee answered yes we do, so my husband ordered one. The girl began fixing normal steak and cheese sandwich, which is totally different than a melt. We told them that wasn't the right way for it, Then the older woman blew up hollering very rudely about how they were a independent store and they didn't serve them. I came here today for a takeout dinner and I just moved to this area was let down badly when coming in we noticed that the employees couldn't take the overflow of people very well and were sorta rude, I couldn't really tell until I was getting my sub that they almost touched my sub without gloves because they weren't really focused and I ordered 2 foot longs but one wasn't really a foot long it's like they were scarce to put meat on my steak and cheese and the condiments on my second sub took over all the sandwich away all I wanted was slight mayo and I got a copious amount but anyway I wouldn't recommend this until they put their employees in check. read more

I get that this place hasn't gotten a review in a while so here we go. It's not nearly as bad as the other reviewers said. The restaurant was clean and the food was standard for a subway. The only real negative was that you could tell that the previous bad reviews had reduced traffic to the restaurant so the bread was probably baked at the start of the day and not just a few hours before like I am used to. I hadn't been to this Subway for some time due to poor customer service (we've lived in the area for ten years) but tried again today. Never again. The employee who added the toppings to my sandwich had the attitude of someone who wanted to be anywhere else but work and turned around and walked away when I thanked her for the sandwich, the sandwich bread was saturated with sauce (I ordered the pizza sub). When we arrived at the counter to order (with other customers waiting) only one employee was making sandwiches while the other two were nowhere to be found. I read the other reviews and was concerned but it was around 11 AM and there was nobody else in the place. We found the bread fresh and the sandwiches just like any other subway.
