I had a very disappointing and unacceptable experience at this Subway location in McGregor, TX. An employee told my husband he did not speak Spanish because he was a Trump supporter. This comment was inappropriate, unprofessional, and completely out of line in a customer service environment. No customer should be treated or spoken to this way based on political assumptions or language. It made the interaction feel disrespectful and hostile. I strongly hope management addresses this issue seriously so it does not happen to anyone else. read more

Three employees there at 1pm on a weekday. One person was ahead of me and two online orders.  I've never seen someone put meat and cheese on something so slowly before. She had all day I guess but I was on a lunch break. After 25 minutes my veggies went on, the lady doing the veggies on the online orders had to read the receipt after each one. When she tried to out mayo on mine she put peppercorn ranch even while I was trying too tell her not to. These folks are unskilled, slow, and inconsiderate of people whose have limited lunch breaks. read more

I have a very busy schedule this time of year and don't get back home into McGregor until very late. I end up getting subway sometimes twice a week so I don't feel like absolute garbage eating other deep fried fast food all the time. Most of the time my sandwich comes out good, sometimes a little messy or occasionally missing an ingredient, but no big deal. Tonight, on 10/11/22, I picked up my usual sandwich at about 9:30pm. I was shocked to see a beautiful, perfectly constructed sandwich! I get a lot of veggies and they often fall out of the sandwich, but with this one, everything was packed in just perfectly. All the ratios were right, and I honestly couldn't make a better sandwich myself. It might sound silly to absolutely rave about a single sandwich, but I just wanted to shout out whoever made it tonight! Thank you! I never caught her name but she was a very sweet and bubbly girl with brown hair, probably early 20's. The food always tastes good. The staff seem rushed and depressed. Very unfriendly. Once they made me a salad, I asked for double on all vegetables and the salad bowl was not even half full when they finished making it. When I immediately returned for more lettuce there was no apology. The place usually has dirty tables, unclean floor and unclean bathrooms. I will not return to this Subway. read more

6 pm on Thursday, January the 12th my sister and I decided to get subway, as twin celiacs eating at restaurants is painful, I feel sorry for the man we made make our food, however I was impressed at his professionalism despite the fact he had clearly been having a bad day. I prefer Blimpies over a subway but they don't exist here it seems. Over all this is a great fast food chain and they almost always get my sandwich just rightZ my only complaint is they don't have Swiss cheese. I would eat there more often and give a better review if they offered my favorite sandwich cheese. Also their vinegar is incredibly watered down or just so mild that it can hardly be noticed. read more

Went there during a tennis tournament at the HS around noon ...servers were very friendly and got us through the line quickly. Sandwiches were made perfect, and tasted great. Their rotisserie chicken is the bomb! Our whole tennis team ate there as well. Great job guys! read more
