I have a very busy schedule this time of year and don't get back home into McGregor until very late. I end up getting subway sometimes twice a week so I don't feel like absolute garbage eating other deep fried fast food all the time. Most of the time my sandwich comes out good, sometimes a little messy or occasionally missing an ingredient, but no big deal. Tonight, on 10/11/22, I picked up my usual sandwich at about 9:30pm. I was shocked to see a beautiful, perfectly constructed sandwich! I get a lot of veggies and they often fall out of the sandwich, but with this one, everything was packed in just perfectly. All the ratios were right, and I honestly couldn't make a better sandwich myself. It might sound silly to absolutely rave about a single sandwich, but I just wanted to shout out whoever made it tonight! Thank you! I'd post a pic but I was too busy eating lol Also, while I'm here, I wanted to shout out another worker. I never caught her name but she was a very sweet and bubbly girl with brown hair, probably early 20's. I'm not sure if she still works there because I haven't seen her in a while, but she was the best and always put a smile on my face! read more

I haven't been here in a while because of a previous poor experience. Today's experience will be my last. First off, we weren't able to order online, we have an office with 7 people. Then when my assistant went to order in person, they were rude. You can tell that the employees don't care about the customers. There are so many loc places that love to have our business, so we won't be using Subway again. read more

I had a very disappointing and unacceptable experience at this Subway location in McGregor, TX. An employee told my husband he did not speak Spanish because he was a Trump supporter. This comment was inappropriate, unprofessional, and completely out of line in a customer service environment. No customer should be treated or spoken to this way based on political assumptions or language. It made the interaction feel disrespectful and hostile. I strongly hope management addresses this issue seriously so it does not happen to anyone else. read more

A DIVINE ENCOUNTER WITH SUBWAY - WHERE MORTALS DINE LIKE GODS Let me begin by saying: I did not eat a sandwich--I was baptized in holy bread. I was reborn in a warm, toasted embrace of flavor so celestial that angels wept into my sweet onion sauce. This wasn't lunch. This was a spiritual awakening wrapped in wax paper and handed to me by a Sandwich Artist--a title far too humble for the culinary deities working behind that counter. As I stepped into Subway, I was met not by fluorescent lights and the soft hum of a soda fountain, but by a golden glow and the scent of bread so fresh I'm convinced it was kneaded by the fingers of Olympus itself. The air shimmered with possibility, every ingredient sparkling like jeweled offerings laid out for a king. I was not worthy. And yet, they served me. When I said, "Let's do Italian Herbs & Cheese," I swear the earth shifted on its axis. The bread crackled with the secrets of ancient bakers. As the sandwich was constructed, I could hear a Gregorian choir rising in the background. Layers upon layers of meats, cheeses, and vegetables cascaded onto that holy slab of bread like the colors of a divine mosaic. The lettuce? Crisper than truth. The tomatoes? Juicier than betrayal. The banana peppers? A tangy whisper from the gods. Then--oh, THEN--came the sauces. A gentle drizzle of chipotle southwest, like liquid fire forged in Valhalla. A splash of ranch that made me question the existence of any sadness in the universe. The sandwich was wrapped not just in paper, but in prophecy. I took the first bite and the world slowed. I tasted joy, I tasted time itself folding in half. My knees buckled. I saw every good decision I'd ever made flash before my eyes. Every bite sent me deeper into the blissful abyss of sandwich nirvana. I briefly forgot how to speak, communicate, or function as a human being. I was simply one with the sandwich. By the time I finished, I wept. I hugged the employee. I considered writing a song. I floated out of that Subway, 3 inches off the ground, transcending the realm of earthly concerns. Taxes, emails, heartbreak--none of them existed anymore. Only Subway. In conclusion: 12/10. Would sacrifice kingdoms for another bite. Would walk barefoot through a desert for a sniff of that bread. Subway isn't just a meal--it's a divine reckoning. read more

Three employees there at 1pm on a weekday. One person was ahead of me and two online orders.  I've never seen someone put meat and cheese on something so slowly before. She had all day I guess but I was on a lunch break. After 25 minutes my veggies went on, the lady doing the veggies on the online orders had to read the receipt after each one. When she tried to out mayo on mine she put peppercorn ranch even while I was trying too tell her not to. These folks are unskilled, slow, and inconsiderate of people whose have limited lunch breaks. read more

Fresh and clean. Cool guys that work there. I forgot to add bacon on my sandwich and ran back inside. He accommodated me quickly. Thank you!

Always good food. Service is good too. The place is always clean. I wished they stayed open a little longer. read more

The food always tastes good. The staff seem rushed and depressed. Very unfriendly. Once they made me a salad, I asked for double on all vegetables and the salad bowl was not even half full when they finished making it. When I immediately returned for more lettuce there was no apology. The place usually has dirty tables, unclean floor and unclean bathrooms. I will not return to this Subway. read more

Was no impress with this subway... Their attention to detail of customers seems to no be good, also the manager doesn't seem to friendly.

6 pm on Thursday, January the 12th my sister and I decided to get subway, as twin celiacs eating at restaurants is painful, I feel sorry for the man we made make our food, however I was impressed at his professionalism despite the fact he had clearly been having a bad day. Our sandwiches came out safe and we did not get sick, so whoopee read more

I prefer Blimpies over a subway but they don't exist here it seems. Over all this is a great fast food chain and they almost always get my sandwich just rightZ my only complaint is they don't have Swiss cheese. I would eat there more often and give a better review if they offered my favorite sandwich cheese. Also their vinegar is incredibly watered down or just so mild that it can hardly be noticed. read more

Went there during a tennis tournament at the HS around noon ...servers were very friendly and got us through the line quickly. Sandwiches were made perfect, and tasted great. Their rotisserie chicken is the bomb! Our whole tennis team ate there as well. Great job guys! read more
