I think this place gets a bad rap. Not sure why.... We live about 7 miles away. Probably visit about every 6 weeks. Each time our food has been fresh and hot! Our orders have been correct and the service was swift. We will continue to do business with the Burger King in McGregor. read more

I ordered BOGO jack-o'-lantern whoppers on the app today. They were customized. Leave it up to Burger King to screw it up. I wanted no mayonnaise no ketchup on both burgers. I got extra mayo and extra ketchup on both burgers. These jack-o'-lantern whoppers were so sloppy. It would've been easier to eat it with a fork and a knife and maybe a spoon too. I am very happy that McDonald's opened up across the street. They should close this location down. McDonald's will take their business. This is by far the worst Burger King I have ever eaten that. Good food tastes like a regular Burger King and the employees were nice and the manager liked my burger I got that was a double patty whopper with extra mayo and extra onions and cheese and onion ring and more and I liked it too and the bathroom was decent and there was some toys as decor at the top and the register and shelves and I saw that there was a small tiny store connected to the restaurant with the same flooring and one of the screens that they have the menu on is a bit broken and the kitchen and tables and everything was clean and the food was so good and I will come to this Burger King next time I go to Home Depot in Waco and thay had paper bags to hold food in if somebody wants to eat it home and yes my mom likes this Burger King too and this place has soda and napkins and ketchup packets and I would recommend people trying this Burger King and I don't know why there are a lot of bad reviews of this Burger King when everything is good and yes there are handy cap parking spots read more

We went through the drive thru at Burger King in McGregor Texas on 5/12/2015 at around 7:30 maybe. We were the only car there. We have been going there for years and the speakers have been bad since 2006. We could barely understand what the person was saying. We made two orders a double Whopper with cheese and a whopper. Two large frys and a large milk shake. When we got to the window The young kid handed my wife a chocolate milk and asked," did you order a chocolate milk." She said,"I ordered a large milk shake". He brings us a very small shake and my wife looks at him and say "You have to be kidding, this looks like a child's shake." the young man just looked at her and smiled. He had dark hair and was young don't know if he was Spanish or white but whatever he was, he needs some training. Possibly a student. I do have to admire the young man for working. Maybe he was new. When we got home we found that they gave us small fry's after we asked for large, they did get the whopper and small coke right. I order a double whopper with cheese. Instead I received something with a hot jalapenos on it. I take medicine and eating those jalapenos with this medicine would not be good for me at all. All the years I have ordered this double whopper with cheese and never had jalapenos on it. We were the only customers in the drive thru and they still screwed up the order. I tried to call at 8:13 pm and again at 8:17 pm it rang and rang forever and no picked up the phone. Then at 7:30 this morning I called and it rang and again no one picked up. Maybe they were closed. I tried to make a statement about my experience to mybkexperience.com but there is no store number on the receipt nor is there the time when I was there. There was suppose to be a number at the bottom of the receipt but the kid tore it off too soon. I was finally able to get through to the manager this morning. Very nice young man. I told him just what I said here. He stated he hasn't been there that long. He asked me if the young man was Spanish, I told him I thought so but he may of not been. I told the manager that the speakers are lousy and he said, "they were worked on recently." He told me to come back in and that he would refund my money and cook the hamburger for me himself. I declined. I told him to keep the money. I also stated that I read some reviews about the BK there in McGregor and the two reviews weren't very good. Hopefully this young man will get Burger King on the right track. I doubt after this episode I will ever go back, I can't take a chance of being given the wrong type of food. I hope in the future that they do better and that they get those speakers fixed. My advice is go inside and order and check your order when you get it. read more

Ordered 2 burgers with no onions and the put onions on it. Went back through the drive through to have them remade, literally 20 seconds later they handed us a new order. This time 1 burger had onions the other didn't. The one that didn't tasted of onion. They just took off the onion and handed it back. Worst bk I've ever been to. Will not return. Go there during the evening . Definitely not the place to go if your in a hurry and you want stuff right. I have talked to the manager. But nothing has really impressed me. The workers can be rude and uninformed and what they actually have there . The day crews normally do ok. If your coming through or staying in mcgregor there are way better places to eat. read more
