Our food took a long time but like I stated , they were veryyyyyyy busy! We enjoyed our meal pretty well. The Rocket has been around since 1958, so it was pretty cool to have visited here while in town. Only knock , music too loud that it's hard to hear your number called. We spent $30 on burgers for two, and it was just awful overall (including the static-filled country music radio station playing loudly in the background). Add to that the long waits I have ALWAYS experienced regardless of the time of day or day of week, and I'm so done with this place. I think people have some nostalgic love for The Rocket, but it's time to realize that it no longer represents good food or service in our area.

We got seated right away and the staff were very welcoming. We noticed our Atlanta Braves game had started and I asked the bar tender if we could watch it on the tv while we ate and she was very friendly to change the channel for us. We had some bread delivered to our table with olive oil and our drink order was taken and brought to us quickly. The temperature was cool inside despite 90 degrees outside and the dining room was clean. We ordered our food and didn't have to wait too long before it was delivered. The food was hot and tasty and everyone agreed that we were glad we came to eat there. We finished our meal and made our way home. Everything was great and we will be back!

Convenient parking, very friendly staff. We were seated right away while at the same time another waiter got started with our drinks. It's a very homie, relaxed ambiance with a couple of TVs playing sports. Now to the best part. We shared a Rib Plate and a Pulled Pork Plate with a side of Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw and Corn Bread. They are not lying when they say the ribs are fall-of-the-bone and seasoned to perfection ribs. 110% recommended. After we got all our orders, a staff member stopped by our table to ask if everything was good. I loved that. He then asked if we were trying their famous pie? We said no. He emphasized we must try it. So we did. WOW! It was gone in the blink of an eye. We had it with shrimp and totally recommend it. Everything was delicious and priced fairly.
