I recently had the opportunity to eat at Zaxby's in Asheville, NC. I am an avowed Raising Canes…read moreaddict. But being in the south i felt it necessary that I run the taste test and find out who makes the best chicken fingers. Honestly, I love Zaxby's! Everything about them was spot on. The breading was just right, not overcooked, the fries were perfect, and the Texas toast was ideal. They totally made me forget about Canes while I was there! Did I mention the sauce? I very much liked the sauce, but i chose sauce with no spice. I can be a spice guy but I opted out on it because I wanted to get the real flavor of the chicken. So, I suppose when I'm in the north I'm a Canes guy. When I'm in the south I'm a Zaxby's guy. And when I'm in the middle I'll live with the tension.

Everything about that place? Just holy hell. Thank God I never got accepted to work there because by the looks of it that place is a hell hole not only for customers but for employees. Please fix your restaurant or shut it down. And I can get some of the staff being miserable, especially if people are just reporting you for not smiling. But I've never seen or met any of you people before. I've worked in fast food for 5 years and I have never in a million years acted like that or had a co-worker that has acted like they have. That is saying a lot. That will be the first and hopefully last time I'll ever eat here. Thank Margaret for not hiring me

And the vibe was awful you could walk in and you could feel something off. First we're going to start with the service... Oh my, I ordered the five dollar meal which includes a sandwich six nuggets and small fries, I got the spicy mcchicken as a sandwich which and it was god awful regardless let's start on the fries they were stale cold and all together tasted like cardboard and the chicken nuggets were undercooked and were cold, they mcchicken was okay but was not spicy and I ORDERED a SPICY mcchicken. And it took for ever to get my food. And the employees were awful they were rude and didn't care about there job they bumped into my sister when she was standing up at a table and she apologised even though the worker bumped into to her and I understand accidents happen but she literally riled her eyes at my sister and said ugh.
