Thanks to excellent customer service by Sebrina I enjoyed my visit. Nicely greeted and learned she has many years at Subway. She's a sandwich artist. I ordered the flatbread egg and steak with cheese and some veggies. She crafted it well. It tasted great. She also was able to trouble shoot the remaining balance on a gift card that several stores had not. She was patient and found the solve and now my gift card is used. Ordered sandwiches at 4:30 PM to be picked up at 5:25 PM, order wasn't ready until after 6 PM. That was not an issue, the issue was that while waiting we were watching the sandwiches be made from a table near the counter. The guy making my sandwiches looked over at me so I looked up to see if he had a question and he says something along the lines of "I can feel you staring at me" which felt so awkward cause I wasn't and didn't know if he was implying I was being rude or where the convo was supposed to go. When I got up to get my sandwich I said "sorry if you felt I was looking at you I was watching my sandwich be made" to which he replied "my eyes are up here and your sandwich is down here" but couldn't even look at me while talking. The way I was sitting made it impossible for us to make eye contact unless he looked over at me so his response made absolutely zero sense. Also while waiting he was turning costumers away and being condescending as if they were in the wrong for being there. Won't be going back to wait 30 minutes for sandwiches that were marked as "done" and watch the staff treat costumers like crap. read more

We've always went out of our way to go to this particular Subway as it was always superior in quality to the rest. But ever since they switched ownership it has gone waaaaayyyy downhill! Today was the last straw. Ordered 2 sandwiches for pick up thru the app. Upon getting home we realized both sandwiches were not only wrong but the combinations they put together were absolutely disgusting and inedible. Got in line and waited 20 minutes for them to make 12 trays of bread that we didn't need while they continued to touch their faces and not change gloves. Then they touched all the sandwich ingredients. As a line of 10 people formed behind us,it took 15 more minutes for them to make our 3 sandwiches and then our insane total was $56.39 ? With the chaos COVID-19 has caused, delivery options improving was a welcome and much-needed change for the area. However, there seems to be some kind of issue between Subway and delivery apps. Each time I order delivery and double check to mark that my sandwich NOT be toasted because the bread cuts the roof of my mouth and the heat ruins the greens, it still arrives toasted. Usually with the wrong sides, too. It's actually incredibly frustrating and frequent enough to the point that I may just stop eating subway all together. The icing on the cake is that the store's phone has been disconnected for over a year so I can't even call to make sure the order was received correctly. I know that nobody is perfect but please at the very least do the bare minimum. read more

Subway has done a good job of consistent sandwiches and this place was no exception. A tasty sandwich that hit the spot. However the service here seemed to be lacking in my visit. There were two employees behind the counter when I arrived and no one greeted me. I tried to ask for help and was then told it would be a moment (seemingly they were making a to go order for someone who wasn't in the store?). Finally when I was able to order they were quick as to what I have come to expect. Though the second employee seemed like he didn't want to be there. Threw a mayonnaise bottle out of frustration because it was empty. Stormed away to get another without saying a word. Didn't make me feel very welcome. The store was clean though and I'd like to chalk the service up to a bad day, so approach with that in mind. Against my better judgment I ordered a sandwich today from Subway around 10:50 I was alerted on the app that the sandwich is ready about quarter after 11:00 and I actually walked in the door around 10:45. Grab my sandwich and it wasn't there so I figured maybe they were still making it after about 10 minutes I asked what was going on and they said they didn't have nothing in the computer regarding my order even when I showed them the app that confirms my order, and they still insisted that I must have ordered it to the wrong restaurant even though the address is right here. the three employees go back to doing their work and I'm standing there figuring that they're going to make my sandwich after about another 10 minutes I went and spoke to the cashier and asked him what was going on and they started getting really rude. It wasn't in the computer there was nothing they can do about it. I don't see what the big deal was making another sandwich but anyways it is what it is. I'm not really mad about the sandwich or the 10 bucks, two of the three employees worked young man working the register and the elderly woman that was doing the sandwiches. They were acting like I was wasting their time because I wanted my food and I was very nice. Management if you read this you might want to do a little training on customer service they are very busy I get it but it's the job. again if you look at the photo that I posted it has the address it has the time the sandwich is ready there's the time that I took the screenshot when I wrote all this but this was my fault they said I was at the wrong restaurant. I appreciate having a Subway in Fortuna. It's nice to have a fast food alternative that is a better choice health-wise. My favorite thing to get is their salads. You basically choose all the items you would put on a sandwich, and have them added to iceberg lettuce and spinach greens instead. Their fat free honey mustard sauce makes a delicious dressing! This Subway is located in a somewhat slummy part of a shopping center though, so I would stay on high alert if you're visiting this spot after dark. Besides it's less than desirable location, any interactions I have had with staff have been more than pleasant. They are always so kind and accommodating. read more

Quality of sandwiches is totally normal for Subway and some of the employees are really nice and work very hard. However, every single time we come here it takes at least 30 minutes to get our food. Whether there is a line or not, it takes FOREVER. Definitely not the location to go to if you're in a rush. read more

Subway, I love your sandwiches AND you also have a problem here at your location in Fortuna, CA. At 12:30pm there were 12 people standing in front of me in line. It was so packed on the inside that I thought it would be a thoughtful & safer decision to open the door and wait at the entryway as the line proceed to grow. I was told to shut the door. I understand that may be for health and safety reasons but how is it safe to have that many people huddled in such a small space with zero fresh air flow, given the pandemic? After a 30+ minute wait I was able to order. There are so many door dash orders and online orders that the people in-person get the bad end of the deal but that doesn't seem right. Also, your workers were great in that they were managing multiple sandwich orders at the same time...however, they looked really tired. I hope you're taking care of your employees. If this is how long I'll have to wait for a sandwich at subway ... I'd rather not go. Or maybe I'll order online like everyone else but then why even let people come in person at all? Maybe you should switch to take out or delivery only cuz the people that come in-person really get the short end of the stick and it doesn't feel safe to order inside with that many people with the door closed. Slow snobish people...they have an attitude, roll their eyes to every question you ask and continuously ask if thats it after every topping. This is the worst Subway! We were there last night. Instead of telling us before we had sandwiches made that they couldn't take our gift card or atm, they waited until we had hot sandwiches made and told us to go get cash and come back to pick up sandwiches which would then no longer be hot. First time I went there, they over charged me. Then the next time I went, got food poisoning so bad that I threw up right when I got home and was ill for days. It was an horrible experience.
