Stopped at 10:20 at night on our way to the keys. Store hours were until 11 but when we got there doors were locked. One of the workers came to the door and said they were closed. I asked why and he said he was resetting the system. I told him that's something you do after your close. I'm a Subway owner and it's sad to see stores like this. If this is how it's managed then I hope the owner finds a new person or loses his store to protect the name. read more

I don't know where the negative reviews came from must of been before the new ownership,me and the crew grab lunch here every week with no issues. I've been a customer of this particular subway since I moved to Homestead in 08. I had familiar faces there for a while. Great and friendly service except when they would always complaint about the franchise owner stating he was cheap and would not properly stock them up with the necessary ingredients to last them till their shifts were over. Well after not visiting for a month or two, my family and I decided to eat subway yesterday. I so wish I would of never stepped foot in there. As we approached the order line we were not even greeted properly and were asked "how many sandwiches you want?" Immediately I held my mouth. So rude!!!! After my hubby tells her what sub we want she proceeds to catch attitude. Mind you, her hair was a mess and her clothing was filthy, looked liked she wore it a whole week already without washing it or herself. I was livid! My poor hubby decided to deal with it. Then she asks what kinda cheese? My hubby responds provolone.... Not only does she act like a total bi*ch but responds with a nasty remark rather than saying we have no provolone. Ugh. Again yesterday she got lucky I was with my special needs son or I would of tore her a new one. Horrible attitude, service, cleanliness. I was extremely disgusted. The other poor girl finished dressing up the sub. It was 3 pm and they were out of spinach, cookies, honey oat bread etc. Horrible!!! This place has completely gone down hill. I will NEVER return to this location. I don't care there are another 4 subway near my house. Their loss!!! Their lazy franchise owner needs to step it up or this place will close down fast. I tried getting the miserable , dirty , rounchie lady's name but her name tag was hidding under her filthy shirt. It starts with a T. Stay away from this place!!!! The tables, chairs, employees and bathrooms are disgusting. Ruined my sub. Couldn't even eat it. In a nutshell: Disgusting place, nasty employees, cheap owner = No more business! This is BY FAR, the absolute worse Subway franchise, I have ever been in. I went in and asked for a double meat ham and turkey, and was told, that the menu had changed, and they no longer offer that. WELL.. I JUST got that very sub, from the one across the street from my house in Miami on Sunday. But I was told, I would have to purchase 1 of each, if i wanted Ham AND turkey. Also noticed that the meat side of the bar was closed, and all the meat was in their plastic bins, sitting on the bar, no spit spit shield protection, as required by health code. so I turned around and walked out, and went to the one further down the street, where I GOT my double meat ham and turkey. I will never set foot in this particular store again, and would recommend everyone else to steer clear. go to either one a couple of miles down the road in either direction, you can get the sub you want, and not have to worry about getting sick. read more
