Now that time has passed, I wanted to write a review about the Hartselle Alabama Captain D's. Back…read morein August, September, October, and beginning of November 2024 this was one of my Dads favorite places to eat. He absolutely loved the fish, and especially the coleslaw. The reason being? The staff, the manager and most importantly the cooks. My dad had brain cancer and had it set in his mind that he wanted "ice cold coleslaw". Every time we came in or submitted an order for my dad they always knew and remembered what he would order. The cooks would go out of their way to put ice cubes under the coleslaw in the Togo dish for my dad. It is because of this exceptional location and the caring people that work in it, that helped my dad feel some type of normalcy before him passing away.
