There was a basket at the front with discounted bread from the previous day. It was very hard to resist because it looked delicious and was less than $2. We were headed out for a hike next so we stuck to our plan for one treat each. We were really hoping for pastries but that section of the case was empty oddly enough. My husband chose the oatmeal raisin cookie. It was way too crunchy and not much flavor unfortunately. I adore meringue and was intrigued by the unique shape of theirs so that was my choice. Perfection! My big issue with meringues are the gumminess inside the big fat ones. This design remedies that and I will be buying a piping bag and making mine this way forevermore. The chocolate dip was a nice, yummy touch as well. Husband got the drip... light roast. I got an iced vanilla latte with coconut milk. (Their alternative milks - which are not listed on the menu board - are coconut milk and oat milk.) My latte was strong and tasty! Had me buzzing a bit and probably was not a good idea to then sit for about 2 hours in the car as I was hopped up like a spider monkey once we got out of the car in Banff. hahaha!

The interior has that vibe with the roll up doors. Our server Paul was excellent, being a fellow traveller we had plenty in common despite the 35 year age difference.
