Stopped by here and was met with poor customer service. One of the employees was giving us a hard time and would not allow us to have our waters in the restaurant because they were not purchased at their location. I've never heard of such a policy and no where is it written in the establishment. My wife also had a bag of chips she was just holding and was told she had to leave and put the chips in the car. The other employees were nice, but this one woman was just a very rude employee. In addition I ordered a meatball sub which had one meatball so burnt it tasted like charcoal. I typically don't like leaving low star reviews but I need to leave this here as a warning to go elsewhere unless their management changes. read more

Wow this was honestly the dumbest place ever. Long line ok. But you have to ask for a key to the bathroom. Woman wouldn't give it to you without ordering first??? The workers making our sandwiches were very pleasant and did a great job but the manager who rang us up was not at all. We purchased 5 sandwiches and went to go pay. When we got to the register the manager rudely says that I cannot eat my own chips (I was holding a bag of chips that I brought in). She was so rude about it that I thought she was joking, so I reactively smiled and chuckled nervously a little. Turns out she wasn't joking so I had to go walk out in the rain to my car and put them in there. She then tells us the reason is because subway sells chips so I cannot bring in my own. Then we sit down and start eating. My in-laws had brought in some water and as we are eating she literally tells them we also cannot have our own drinks, we then had to put those in the car too. I understand this may be a subway rule but there has to be better communication, maybe a sign or something saying no outside food or drink so that the manager doesn't need to rudely tell us. Also for some reason she wasn't able to break a $100 bill for a $43 bill which was annoying. Overall I don't recommend going to this location. read more

Dansville Subway, 9527 Airport Plaza, Dansville, NY 14437 is the most unwelcoming, unprofessional, and unfriendly Subway I ever regret visiting and wasting money at. The manager Sondra is beyond rude with absolutely no customer service skills and complete disregard for my order itself on top of it all. I do not recommend this location, but I do recommend that this "manager" is fired. read more

I went into the Dansville 9527 Airport Plaza Mall location Store # 16372 on Friday, July 1, 2023, to order the BOGO FREE footlong subs, after receiving an email earlier telling me about the deal. Went into this location to order this deal and ordered 2 of the #1 Philly Steak Subs made when she rang up my order and got told my total for my order was $24.18, when it should've been $12.09. I asked why I was charged full price for 2 subs instead of BOGO FREE! I was told that I had to order it through the App to get the deal! I told them I wanted to pay cash and not have to place it on a credit card linked to my account. I knew it was possible for her to give me the same BOGO FREE deal, So I started to order them on my Subway App at the counter and got rudely told by the lady in charge that I couldn't order them on the app now since they have had already been made. I told her to go ahead and throw out the 2 steak subs that I wasn't able to pay that much for BOGO FREE Subs! This was the worst customer service I have received from any restaurant in the past decade. I recommend that you drive a few extra miles to Geneseo, Hornell or Rochester for decent service. Since I've ordered BOGO FREE subs in person without the app in Chili, Gates, Geneseo, Hornell, Rochester and was told that wasn't a problem! Order multiple foot long subs online. Brought them home to eat and discovered one didn't have the veggies (which had been asked for on the side). Called back to inquire what had happened with the veggies and was meet with instant rude back talk and an insincere "I'm sorry" and "I told you, I'm sorry." When asked for when their manager would be available, I was threaten with, "There is an officer here and they can hear how you're talking to me." and "Do you want to talk to them? They have your number and will be calling you." Is it too much to ask that the employees do their job with care or at least have kindness and use good customer service skill. This is the worst customer service I have ever received from any restaurant in the past decade. I implore you to drive the extra distance to Geneseo or Hornell to be treated right. read more

we ordered 6 footlong subs (3 chicken and 3 veggie) from this place and they packed the sandwiches full. One concern, i wouldn't say the staff was rude but they gave off cues which felt like they did not want us there. Otherwise, it was a great experience and I recommend this place. In the end, I only care about getting the food made right and they were able to provide me with that. read more

I am a frequent visitor of subway (at least once a week for past 6-7 years) and I had a very traumatizing experience at this particular location. I was confronted very rudely by one of the employee (Jul**) working at this subway stating that my father violated a subway policy by not purchasing something for himself and using a restroom. The truth was that I purchased a large meal that I was going to split with my father. When I justified, the employee approached to me so rudely that I just ended up purchasing a bag of chips to make her happy and avoid conflict. To add on to the insult, the sandwich was not made according to my careful instructions either. Update: After reporting my concern to appropriate people, manager reached out to me personaly and apologized. Employees in question also underwent remediation. read more
