(This is a ploy to help their window time). I sat watching several cars receive their order and drive around me. In their defense it was a complex order, a quarter pounder w/ cheese, med. fry and a cup of ice. Wow! No straw in the bag. I guess I should bring my own. Cynthiana has several burger choices so save yourself some time and try any of the others unless you enjoy sitting in a drive-thru.

The restaurant is located in the newly renovated ADUC student center on campus. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was delivered quickly. The fries were to die for but the sandwich (I ordered the regular deluxe sandwich,which comes with lettuce tomato and cheese) was over cooked to the point of being tough. The bun crumbled like it was old. I expected more from Chick-Fil-a. I would like to try it again after they have been open a little longer, though, before I pass a final judgement.

And I heard there used to be a DQ in town which shut down awhile ago. I guess there developed a desire for a DQ again, since. Honestly, I don't have much to comment about this location. It's decent. They have food and my favorite -- Cherry Dilly Bars. It's clean-ish inside. Usually crowded (there's always people here!). Not the cheapest 'fast food.' Food itself is OK. I'd rather just come here for the ice cream, which isn't often anyway. But hey, nice to have another option besides McDonalds, Hardee's, and KFC/Taco Bell. .... and ice cream. They worked diligently behind the counter and at the drive thru window. It didn't appear to me that handling the care of a customers/guests food was ever half assed. They did well. (The chicken sucked, especially in the comfort bowl. But, everything else in the comfort bowl tasted pretty good. And the biscuits were hard as a rock. Not my best impression of a biscuit, but things happen sometimes and restaurants get busy/slammed, so I'm not upset. Restaurant staff and retail staff really do deserve more acknowledgment and to be treated better by society in general in my opinion) To the General Manager (if I remember correctly) Mr. Travis, was absolutely caring, considerate, understanding, professional and very respectful. My family and I had came to dine in. Unfortunately, another customer/guest did not take into consideration of the very heavy perfume/cologne that they were wearing. This customer/guest proceeded to walk past our table several times. The smell (although pleasant at first) immediately ruined our food as all we could taste was the scent over tasty chicken. (Now, we know full and well that that was not the General Manager's/Employee's/Restaurants fault.) But, we did bring it to the General Manager, Mr. Travis's attention as we paid $38 for our meal and didn't eat much due to it being ruined. This wonderful gentleman took it upon himself to redo our entire order even though we told him that he absolutely did not have to do that and we didn't want a refund either. We just simply wanted to make a suggestion to maybe talk to corporate about putting a policy in place of consideration to customers/guests/the employees, that entering an establishment such as a restaurant, with practically bathing oneself in heavy perfume/cologne is rather distasteful and quite frankly disrespectful to others around. Don't get me wrong, I do love perfume/cologne. But there is a time and a place. And using it in excess as a bath is very rude. Mr. Travis saw to it that we were well taken care of. Even though it was not his fault or any of his employees fault. Also, a shoutout to the front counter cashier Miss Alyssa. She was an absolute delight as well. Great taste in jewelry too given working in a restaurant. Thank you for being so kind. To the whole entire crew, thank you for your patience, kindness, understanding, and respect. Aside from the chicken being a major disappointment along with the biscuits, the experience alone with the staff and the mashed potatoes/gravy is enough to keep us coming back in the future. This KFC/Taco Bell location has been renovated…read more Figured I should 'renovate' my review, too. The interior is now modern, clean, and bright with different types and sizes of tables to sit around. I actually really like the large, round table they have for large groups to sit around. Bathrooms are also modern, although cleanliness just depends on usage. Workers are friendly and customers usually look happy. Although still not my preferred place to eat in town, the food has been hot and delicious each time we've ordered. No issues with lukewarm, tasteless food. No opinion on the buffet as I never order (or look at) it. I'm more of a $5 Box kind of person. KFC is now back in our rotation of places to eat in Cynthiana.
